Something About Nothing............ #14

Was a fun time, the night safari was. Neat to look through a night vision lenses. Saw zebras, laying down giraffes, and a couple other animals and birds. Very knowledgeable guide, and took about an hour. Think little one was by far, the youngest in our group of about 20 of us. And I guess makes sense, as we took the latest slot, we were the only two not staying at the resort. But still not too long a drive back, and we noticed much easier to find a parking spot now a day after the holiday weekend.

Time for bed for me. Thinking we may go into Epcot tomorrow. Then late night at HS tomorrow. I think will be our last night of very late nights. Though want to see the MK fireworks and light parade on Thursday night, after a dinner at the cake lady place. Will then take the Boardwalk bus to MK, and walk back to our room when we leave MK.

Camel 🐪 saying he’s getting ready for his arrival tomorrow.

Good night all.

Ugh. It took me forever to fall asleep and then I woke up 2 hours later and now can't get back to sleep.
Nothing interesting happening here. Work was surprisingly quiet yesterday. Usually the day after a holiday is very busy.
I think I am almost ready for my trip on Friday. I just need to get some cash for tip money.

While it gives rain chances every day, at least each time we had a down pour so far, didn’t get much wet, as ran to overhang, then shopped, or ate, until it stopped, Both were mid day. And again today, predicting thunderstorms around 11 am.
The one thing I am not looking forward to.

Good afternoon from HS, waiting for our lunch, and here it us:
I had that soup/sandwich combo that last time we were there. Perfect for a light lunch.

I hope you were able to get your ticket for EPIC.
I ended up having to call guest services to make the purchase. I am still getting an error message online or through the app.

I always make sure hubby has nice meals on hand to warm up while I’am gone
You are a much nicer person than I. My dh has to fend for himself.

What a great time to be in the parks. Yeah, it’s hot and sometimes a rainy part, but crowds are low.
I have checked the wait times on the app and have been astonished at how low they are.

Started to toss some things in basket to pack, as is my norm.
I'm usually a night before packer. I'll probably start when I get off work tomorrow.

Several of our nights dropped to $106.
Unfortunately mine went up to $127 yesterday. I think $111 is going to be my best rate.

I'm going to try to get back to sleep.

i'm shocked how low our rates dropped today

2 nights $106 per & 1 $88

charade - a shout out to you!

mine have always gone the other direction, so i rarely check. this trip has dropped almost $200
in a little over two weeks

i guess I do live under a rock duh

the TM i spoke to today said as long as i don't switch hotel or room
type, to keep checking until arrival and they will honor lowest rate if I call

i have no idea if WDW does that or not

Yay to low rates, Charade and Keisha.

We left late again, and had a late, nice big breakfast at the cafe, then took mono to Epcot, after transferring from TTC, our first stop after getting on.

Then while waiting for the mono, we booked a late lunch at Le C, in Canada. Now, chilling after riding, guardians with a 40 wait, walk on soaring, followed by an almost 50 minute wait for test track. Now, not busy at all, grabbed coffee with no real line, and now enjoying a coffee break at the Connections Cafe.

But as we are at the middle of the week already, who do I see:

Hello camel. We aren’t sorry to be on vacation either. LoL

But as it’s a Wednesday, it means get over this hump of a day feeling, and a second Friday on vacation then a day away. Woot!

Great weather today. No rain in the forecast.

Wishes to all for a Wonderful Wednesday today, and safe travels to those arriving in this next week.

Travels: MonyK is here now, so hoping to say hi to her one day, and a hello to those coming in the next week. Woot! Fall vacation fun to be had.

Travels: MonyK is here now
give her a hey 'der for me

how was le celier? we did it for CP pkg 2 years ago. curious if u had any issues Considering booking the pkg there again if it is again decent

it was so bad that visit, disappointing as generally a solid meal, if not over priced lol

had a long wait for lunch ADR (anything over 1/2 hr is too long in my book)

&

candidate for worst waitress, downright surly . surprised as the first time we experienced multiple, basic service issues there

my med rare filet was well done :crazy2:& came cool to table. when i pointed it out, server growled it was my fault for letting it sit until she stopped by after it was delivered.

her point - it magically went from med rare to well done whilst sitting on the plate

o_O

Nope, Keisha, every time we have eaten there, properly cooked filet and a 7 oz one, with mashed on the side, with a pretzel roll to start. We had a very nice and attentive waitress this time, and usually do. Ashamed when you get poor service and cold food. Hope if you try again, you get hot food and a good wait staff like we get, and got today.

We also like that they season the steaks. I like med rare, and with a good sear. Today, could cut the filet with your fork. Also saved 10 percent with the AP.

We are very full, and going back to relax before hitting up HS until around midnight.

Ah, nothing like having your AP burn money. Little one wants a charm she saw only in MK. Hence, bathroom run then shopping, before we walk out to our room. Absolutely no line to get into MK, many cm’s waving to us to check in with them. We picked a friendly one, who complemented on our outfits.
