Someplace special to eat Christmas Eve

First Chrismas in Orlando and since our relatives are too far to visit we were planning on a visit to Universal Studios/Is. of Adventure on Christmas Eve. I know Is. of Adventure is open until 10:00PM that night. Do the restaurants in the City Walk close early for the holiday? Family of four looking for a place to eat dinner (not fancy), we have already been to the Hard Rock. Thanks.

There are plenty of good places 2 go. Depending on what your looking 4 there is something 4 every budget and tastes. Right next 2 Hard Rock is the NBA restaurant we enjoyed it more than the Hard Rock. There is a wealth of info in the trip reports also..I know I'm passing the buck by saying that. But you can get a feel what other families have written and be guided accordingly. I would first call to see what is going to be open before a final decision. Relax you wont be disappointed.

I would recommend either NASCAR Cafe or Margaritaville...both are fun places to eat and I've never had a bad meal in either establishment.

Mama Della's at Portofino Bay Hotel (take the boat from CityWalk). Food is delicious and, no doubt, the restaurant will be decorated and very festive.

If you're looking for something very special, I'd suggest Emeril's Tchoup Chop, located at The Royal Pacific Resort. I would also suggest Emeril's in Citywalk, but Opentable indicates no reservation are available between 2pm and 10pm that night.
