Are you kidding? Chelsea is a grown woman -she's 28 years old or close to it and is quite capable of making her own decisions.

I agree we have pitiful choices for candidates.

Clinton described the plan for the Bosnia trip this way: "there was a saying around the White House that if a place was too small, too poor, or too dangerous, the president couldn’t go, so send the First Lady. That’s where we went."

When you add in she also brought her 15 year old daughter you have to really wonder two things: 1-Did she know the trip was perfectly safe, so she pulled her kid out of Sidwell Friends and away they went to "pretend" it was dangerous, or 2-Was she so busy making sure she got some eyecatching resume fodder for the future she sorta forgot she was responsible for the safety of a young teenager...

I agree 1000% and will be voting Libertarian (as I always do).

This is sort of off topic but I have been thinking about this all day. Was Chelsey with Senator Clinton on the trip? I ask because I can't imagine a mom allowing her child to be in the situation she described. This is just bothering me.

Could one of these two democrates really become President.

One listened to Hate America Sermons for 20 years but says it OK because their not his views.

The other doesn't ever know whether or not shots were fired.

I couldn't agree with you more. I know I personally want to see another 4,000 American lives lost in this war. After all, according to our pal Cheney, "they volunteered." I agree. It serves them right. If one of those horrible dems get in there, they might just bring those volunteers home and make them.......I don't know..........protect our own country or something strange like that. No way, no how is that woman or black guy going to run our country. I say bring on another 8 more years of war, deficits, failing schools, economy, health care, etc. CHANGE??? Who wants that?

Just curious, why do you assume that is why they are not being voted for? I, personally, am not voting for them because I disagree with their views. I could'nt care less that one is a woman and the other is black.

Because there are people out there that honestly feel that way. I have met a few myself and unfortunately, I am related to a couple of them. Sometimes it seems like we live in a country that takes two steps forward and three steps back.

I'm a republican who has seriously entertained the idea of voting for Obama, should he win the nomination. I have to wonder, though. Would he survive a Presidency?

it is hard for me to imagine that in this big nation full of great people these three are the best people we can put forth to represent all of us. I'm so disgusted that I feel there is nobody to vote for. DH and I, both hardcore republicans had entertained some serious moments of voting for Obama and now feel we can't do that.

I agree. Except, replace Obama with Hillary. Now, I am so angry at her for telling a downright LIE about sniper fire, I can't even think of voting for her

And to think...

That war obsessed republican could one day hold the most important job in the United States! It's a nightmare.

And he fought Bush over it. His position was if you go in, go in with enough force to win.

He also was a big critic of Rumsfeld, who was another McNamara wanting to fight the war on the cheap.
