Someone tried to scam me!

I was in a stitch offer room to see if i could even have a chance at getting one, a girl came in (let's just call her girl1, because i don't want to put her name, if you want it please pm me) here is what happened:
girl1: trade me please
i accept trade
girl1: puts birthday pin, bird hat and a bunch of other rare in trade window
girl1: like anything?
me: yes, the birthday pin
girl1 takes everything except be day pin out
girl1: you don't want bird?
me: no i have on
girl1: can i see?
i put my extra bird hat in trade window
girl1: i accept, be day pin for bird?
me: but you have bird.
girl1: well i need 2
me: ok
trade is accepted and done
girl1 leaves
girl1 comes backk
girl1: take off minnie please.
me: why?
girl1: just take it off please.
me: ok
i take off minnie
girl1 trades me
i accept trade request
girl1 puts bird in trade window
girl1: can i see minnie?
i put minnie in trade window
girl1 accepts trade
me: i told you i'm not trading it, sorry
girl1: i know i just want to try it on
i leave trade and report
i get a message back:
just like in real life once you loan something you could lose it.

luckily i didn't fall for it, i will always wear my minnie proudly on my head

Did she not realize you were the same person?

By reading your transcript, it sounds like she thought she was trying to pull the wool over somebody's eyes, not realizing you just traded the bird hat.
