Ok.. here's the plan.

Trip to Florida in October to see the fam and some friends. On the way home I want to leave early and do a day (or 2) at WDW. it will be me (27) my sis (30) and my DD (3)

Here is our deal:
1 Night Room Only POP = 85.85 (hoping for codes)
1 Adult 2day/2park pass for sis = 118.53
1 child 2 day/2park pass for DD = 93.57
1 Adult 1day/1park pass for me = 62.10 (I have a day on my PHP left from Feb
Total = 360.05

Can anyone think of a way to do a bigger savings? I do have the 1 day and all the pluses left on my PCP.. will they exchange those in the purchase of a 2day/2park for me?

Thanks folks.. any input totally welcome.

I'm pretty sure if you swap your ticket in for a new one, all you'll get is the value of the one remaining day from when the ticket was originally purchased. If that was in February, then it wouldn't be that big a hit to you. You won't get any credit for unused plusses. I think I'd just use that day and keep the plusses for later.

What if you got a 2 day/1 night Ultimate Park Hopper instead? Those are just a little bit more expensive (I know...wrong way, right), but you'd get the added flexability of not being stuck in the same park for each day. I guess that really depends on what you want to see though. BTW, the ticket prices on allearsnet.com are $111.30, $87.86 and $58.31 respectively for what you had spelled out in your original post. That includes tax.

The only way I see that you could save money would be to say off site (horrors!! ;) ) somewhere.

Hey neighbor!

Well.. I know.. I saw the TravelLodge (which looks great) is only $55/night. BUT.. If I'm gonna do it.. I wanna do it onsite! LOL My DD JUST LOVES riding the bus from the hotel. She thinks she's all grown up. And I don't want to deal with the car and lugging her to it and all that mess. I'm spoiled!

The UPH 2day/1night deal really is about just over $100 more expensive. We did WDW (5nights/6days) in Feb, and I just want to rehit Cat's favorites. MK and AK. Don't hit me here, but Epcot and MGM just didnt excite us. I'm guessing on our next BIG trip, she'll be more into the other two. So I wont feel at all binded by just going to the 2 parks. They are all we want this trip anyway!

So, I do think I'm okay with the plan I have. Now.. I have AAA and that rate is just rack. I can get better w/ a AAA and hopefully a code soon.

Offsite? Shudder!
