I'm going *crazy* here with ideas that we just can't afford to do.

I want to get some lawn ornaments (those nifty lighted reindeer, maybe a sleigh).

I want to get wreaths for our door and two front windows (the two we can reach -- don't think I'm going to do anything to the foyer window).

I just started thinking of a "wine tree" to put on DH's wine rack/table. That would be so cute!!

I want a medium-sized tree (5' or there-abouts) in our bedroom.

I want a medium-sized tree to put in the gameroom (yeah right -- WHERE?)

I want a small tree for the kitties, decorated with cat ornaments and maybe even kitty toys.

I want two large poinsettas (artificial since we have the kitties) to put in the living room.

I want two *real* poinsettas to put outside the front door.

I want a little sleigh plant-holder to put out by the front door.

I want a Christmas village to put on top of the entertainment center.

I want some of the animated toys to put in the corner of the dining room with the tree.

I want lights for our windows, and for our trees out front (though that would *really* look wimpy since we don't have large trees yet).

I want lights at least on our garage. (We don't have much place to hang lights outdoors without getting to the top of the second story, which neither DH nor I should do)

ARGH!!!!

Theres always next year... we wont be doing any decorating this year....

Just chant to yourself...."After Christmas Sales, After Christmas Sales, After Christmas Sales." ;) Then pick the one thing you want the most....perhaps the wreaths and save the rest for after the holidays when you'll find much of it on sale. Instead of a tree in your bedroom perhaps see what Christmasy scent you like best at Yankee Candle for this year.

I love those wicker/ratan lawn deers that are covered with clear lights. I only like the big ones. Anyway, they had the perfect animated one, a buck that lowers his head to graze, on sale on Thanksgiving and I could kick myself for not getting it. It was on sale for $39.99! It was beautiful! They also had the doe that lays down next to the buck, but I didn't see how much that was. Anyway, skip the lawn ornaments this year, but next Thanksgiving look for them on sale! :D

I say tuck that money away and save it for a WDW trip! ;)
