Someone please tell me they have Cars "stuff"...

...EVERYWHERE at Disney!!! DS loves the movie and we haven't been able to find many toys or much of anything in our area.

They should have some Cars toys at WDW, no doubt about it... but we had tons of Cars things at Wal Mart, the pillows, dooble pads, toys, plush etc... but thinking of it, they did not stay long... replaced by Superman now...

I am hoping too! We leave Thursday for Disney and my little boy LOVES his Cars!! He only just turned 2 but he has all of the plush ones from Walmart and takes them everywhere- even to bed LOL! I even had an adorable little shortall made for him from a woman on eBay with the cutest Cars fabric. We did go to the Disney Store last week and they had tons of Cars clothes and toys that they don't carry at Walmart or Kmart. We got him some new plush cars and the lightup sneakers, so if the Disney store has things I'm assuming Disney World will too.

The lack of Cars stuff around here is driving me nuts! We managed to get the Lightning and Mater Hotwheels type cars, but they've been sold out for weeks. DS would absolutely love some of the different cars. I kept expecting them to eventually be restocked, but my WalMart and Target stores have discounted the few remaining Cars things and I've seen no more of the "Hotwheels." Anyone have a clue if these are ever going to be restocked????

We were there at the end of May and I did not see it everywhere, just a few things here and there. Our local Target has more of a selection. However we were not on a serious quest for Cars merchandise, so we could have missed it. We did see Lightning and 'Mater on the streets of New York at MGM. They were posing for pictures.

I have no idea if there is any at wdw however I have noticed that cars seems hard to find. Our stores had tons of stuff and then almost over night it was gone. The only thing left in the toy department is a mater plush. Our's was all replaced by Superman as well.

On June 30th when DD and I were at MK for the day they had CARS stuff at one of the "carts" near Indy Speedway - they had the Matchbox like cars and a carrying case as well as some other things. I am certain I saw things in other stores as well - but off the top of my head I can't remember.

We will be hitting MK tomorrow evening and DTD sometime this week as well, and I will keep my eyes open and report on what I see.

Thanks everyone. I guess I am not the only one who has been searching for Cars stuff. DS wanted the matchbox type Cars,and luckily we got some but not all of them, like others have said they were in stores for a bit and then vanished FAST, nobody seems to be restocking and our local Toys R Us never had any.

Just out of curiousity, I went to ebay and typed in "Disney Cars-Lightning" and got multiple pages of stuff! I didn't scroll through all of it, but there seemed to be many items at fairly cheap prices.

Don't miss the Cars and Stars Parade- Lightning McQueen is there in person! There is lots of Cars stuff to buy, but Walmart and Target has it as well for a lot less $$.

I have never seen the stars and cars parade. Is it worth making the special effort for? Sounds cool.....

My DD4 and her best friend (also a DD4) both love Cars and are collecting them, so I don't think becoming a girl is going to change his obsession

Here they were EVERYWHERE right before the movie came out, but I haven't seen the actual cars in weeks. I, too, hope they have some at WDW. We need a few more. I think stores will restock them since the newer cars were released at the tail end of the frenzy. Flo's is supposed to come out at the end of the summer, maybe there will be more cars then.

DS4 is searching for a Doc matchbox car. we can't find one anywhere. Target and Walmart have nothing. Hopefully when we go in October we can find one. That is all he talks about.

I've been hunting for Cars merchandise too, and I've been told at 2 or 3 different places that they company making the matchbox cars has not been able to keep up with the demand. Wal Mart has been out here for a month. Target and the Disney store say mid August... If anyone finds a carrying case for the Cars, please share...I saw one at Target ONCE, went back to get it and they are no where in sight.

PigletForever - if I remembe correctly Doc Hudson is only avail as part of a Mac Truck set avail. at Target only, which has of course been sold out for over a month.

Actually, Doc Hudson is available separately. I know because we got one at Wal-Mart, but it was waaaaaaaay back in May. I've heard it's supposed to be mid-August before they're shipped to stores again.

I hope the retail stores re-stock them soon since we aren't going to Disney until next March. I know my ds won't be able to wait that long to get more. Everytime we are at Wal-mart he wants me to ask the employees when they are getting more in. My sis found Dinoco McQueen and DJ at Toys R Us, other than that we can't find anything.
