Someone Please Help ME

We went to Universal and Disney in May and stayed at the Vistana Villages. There are not any restaurants within walking distance, but if you have a car you will not have to go far. We got a two bedroom condo for $109 with the 7th day free through Hotel Kingdom. It is pretty much in between the two parks. 4 miles to disney and 10 to universal, I think. It is a pretty nice drive either way. You will barely have to leave I-Drive your whole stay. Sea World is only 2 miles away. I have been looking at places for our next trip to Universal and Disney and I cannot find anything comparable. They have nice rooms and a great pool area. The only thing I wish they had was a water slide like a lot of the disney hotels.

Hi! We too stayed at Sheraton Vistana Villages. We had a car which we assume you did too. I would stay at S V V or the Holiday Inn Family Suites. Our friends did 7 nights at S V V and 5 at HIFS and loved both places.

S V V was so nice as we made our own breakfast and supper and ate a great lunch at the parks. We liked Publix ready made meals, like lasagna, etc. Come back to suite at 6ish, pop meal in oven, go for a swim come back and eat. We liked that.

I think from all the info on this board you'll find HIFS are popular and affordable.

Caribe Royale is very nice, real close to MGM and Epcot, all suite Resort located on World Drive. Fabulous pool with slide!! See the picture of the pool slide at mousesavers.com. This resort is fairly new, built in 1999 I think. We were there when some of it was being built. Good Luck!

Glad to read a good report about the CR at last! WE are headed there in 4 weeks and a bit worried about other reports. Are rooms spacious for 5? Is pool area infested with fireants (not heard of them before! are they nasty?)
