We will be staying at wdw for 8 nights, never have we ever been during the new FP system. Anyone wanna give me some advice on how to plan my FP's? Early, spread thru the day, etc..

What seem the best way to utilize them?

On days when you will be there at park opening I prefer to book them for late morning. Then hit a ride or two at rope drop. Once lines are getting higher switch to doing your fps and intermix them with characters. Once they are done for the day you can go to a kiosk and book a few more for the evening (if they're available). Plus, if you end up running late that morning and don't make it to opening, you can still make your fast passes. :) Also don't use them for anything that loads quickly- monsters inc, philharmagic, stuff like that. Use them for the stuff with the longest waits.

My advice is to get them all done by early afternoon, if you are going at opening. This way when you use your final one you can go to the kiosk and get another.

you will get people telling you all kinds of different things I like to plane my FP for between 11ish and maybe 3 ( unless I have wishes FP) the crowds do not start to pick up until 10:30 so you can do a lot of walk on ( or little wait) after you use your 3 you can get one more at a FP kiosk and then another after you use that one. I would do your FP for the 3 rides that are your must do and if you have a 4 one do this one at rope drop. some parks have a tiered system and you can only get 1 FP form tiered 1 and 2 form tiered 2 ( EPCOT and hollywood have this) MK is the park that you can get more FP the easiest

Just make sure you get the most popular ones first - sometimes you don't have a choice of times for those depending on what's already taken for that day. For example, even though I was on at 12:01 am at my 60 day mark, I could only get The Seven Dwarfs Mine Train FP on my MK day for 9:00pm. Get the three you want most, and you can always change them later to try and rework the times. You can even change the times the day of if there is availability. It is better to get them early in the day as PPs mentioned so you can try and get a fourth later in the day if possible. But for the ones you must have a FP to ride without a long wait or getting there at RD, make sure to grab them( TSM, 7DMT, Peter Pan). If you will be at a park multiple days, then you can split up your faves. Good luck!

If you are going to rope drop, you can crank out most things in the first couple hours. Rides like 7DMT and TSMM seem to open with 45-60 minute waits.

My only concern was making sure every major attraction & M&G for my girls (Peter Pan, 7DMT, Space, TSMM, BTMRR, Anna & Elsa, Cinderella & Rapunzel) would be locked in. Had a plan all written out with times and everything, but I had to adjust, and it was perfect in the end.

Thank you guys so much! So, I just long onto my MDE, and click get fastpass right?
Yes, that is how you get started. Then you will need to choose the date, and which park you are going to that day, and you will get the list of rides and attractions to pick three. As PP mentioned they are tiered at Epcot and HS, so you can pick one from tier one and two from tier two. Next you will get a choice of best times for the three you picked (A, B, C, and D) . Pick the best one for you for now, then you can go back later and try to change individual times if needed.

I find it easier to just accept the suggested ones and times they give you and then edit them. Remember once you have one person's FP and times you can use the copy feature to set up the rest of your party at the same ride and time all at once instead of doing them individually.

This saved me loads of time when I booked my family's and other family that came with us.
