Someone Please Explain DDE or is it DDP??

First, let me ask -- I'm an AP holder and I need to know about the plan I can purchase for $50 and we are not staying on-site.

My family will be going in Feb. and then my son and I during Easter. Each different site I visit says "lunch" at certain restaurants. I'm an AP holder so I know I can buy it for $50 and then get the 20% off. But "off" at what places and does it include character breakfasts, lunches or dinners or even non-character meals and "fast food" like Caseys Hot Dogs in MK (Just one that I can think of!!)?

Thanks so much. We're leaving in a little less than 6 weeks and I know the plan takes awhile to come in the mail.

We have it and it saved us alot. But we eat at sitdown restaurants every day during our trip, usually for an early lunch & a late dinner. It doesn't work on holidays...So in other words, you wouldn't be able to get a discount on Easter Day.

It's good at some food courts, but not any fast food in the parks.

It's DDE. It's TS restaurants, but you can use it at the resort food court if it doesn't have a TS.

also good at Tusker House, Pizzafari and Flame Tree BBQ in Animal Kingdom.

I got it, and felt like it was worth it! And that was just on a 5 day trip with 2 people. Will get some more savings next week!

Wonder if what you're reading about savings at "lunch" are the discounts for AP holders (like we get at the TS places in Epcot). DDE covers more places than the AP. And discounts adult beverages, too.

If you order it and it does not come in time for your trip, you can pick up a temp card at EPCOT Guest relations.

I have had my card only since the end of Nov, and it has already paid for itself!

Nice perk - valet parking at the resorts with valet is free.

I just got my dde in the mail..it seems like it will be worth it ..there are 10 of us going so I am planning on saving alot..but can you use it 3 times a day?
