Why oh why did my mom send me home with all this candy??????

I am offering a free room at my home, 20 mins from Disney , to anyone who will come and take all this candy away

I am vowing to not have another piece today and I tried to count my points for the pieces I have already had.

I threw out half of a low-carb cheesecake yesterday and it felt GREAT. Toss it or give it some kids on your block. Whatever you do - GET IT OUT OF THERE!

I just froze all our candy. I labeled them with the POINTS per serving. So hopefully that will keep me away.

My mom went OVER the top this year...She sent me back with three boxes of cookies! Along with all of the candy... I haven't thrown it away because I think DBF would kill me...but I have tried to have people over to pawn it off on them... I figure that if I fatten my friends up, it will make my weight loss even more noticeable! Good luck fighting the Easter Candy Urges!

I know exactly how you feel! My kitchen is full of large Cadbury Easter eggs, Cadbury creme eggs, Cadbury caramel eggs, Cadbury mini eggs, candy, etc. For any of you who have eaten Cadbury chocolate you know how wonderful it is! Every time I go into the kitchen there is the aroma of chocolate, and seeing as chocolate is one of my biggest downfalls, it is driving me crazy! I can't give, or throw the chocolate away because it belongs my DDs, so I guess I had just better get used to it, as I think it's going to be there for a while!

Catherine - Can you have your DD's keep the candy in their rooms? Or store it in the garage for them? Don't make it harder on yourself. Nice job with the freezing, Sam, although I know in my "eating days" that wouldn't have stopped me. Good luck!

All the candy I like went to the Firestation with DH this morning. That left some candy for my DS to have (it didn't seem fair to get rid of all his candy).

YAY, sap!!! Nice job giving it your hubbie! Now I just imagine his co-workers taking it home to their wives who start panicking and trying to get it out of their house. It's an epidemic! Congratulations on doing the right thing! I'm so proud and will take a lesson from your strength.
