Someone pinch me,this trip must have been a dream UPDATED 7/9/10 Boats at the Poly

After another quick wardrobe change for Taylor, we decided to head over to Tower of Terror. Taylor insisted she wanted to ride…..we explained the lightning, ghosts, and the big fall and she still said she wanted to ride it. I was a little nervous to take her, and almost expected her to change her mind during the preshow. Mimi didn’t want to ride, so we agreed to meet her in the gift shop afterwards.

Taylor made it through the preshow without getting scared….so we headed into the boiler room. A little tip from Angela….go to the far left, she says even when it is totally full it is still considerably shorter of a wait because it wraps a lot less.

Here is Taylor snuggling up to daddy in line, I think we were making her nervous by asking her over and over again if she was sure she wanted to ride.

Angela and Momo….Momo didn’t get they were supposed to be acting scared, but isn’t Angela cute? She was so fun to spend the day with!

We got held up briefly for Taylor’s height….. the guy measuring actually made me take her bows out….she was considerably taller than the 40 inch mark, but he seemed to think we were using the bows to make her look taller….. we weren’t the bows were just cute. Thankfully the bows weren’t actually holding her hair up, I had pony tails underneath…. I would have been a lil frustrated if I had to re-part that curly hair!

It was time to enter the elevator and Taylor still wanted to ride…. So here we go.

Getting all buckled in…. Taylor was still very excited, but I think Dee and I were a little nervous.

Taylor told Dee to chill out when he kept putting his arm over here, which made us all laugh

Taylor waved when the ghosts appeared….apparently she doesn’t spook easily….Then we had like 7 drops in the elevator….. when it finally stopped and the lights came on, Taylor blurted out very loudly, “I wasn’t even SCARED!” I think the whole elevator was laughing at her.

Here we are walking off the ride, I didn’t get her face very well…. But she was all smiles and skipping.

When we checked out our picture, Dee and I are nervously leaning over Taylor, but she is all smiles with her arms in the air. It was one of those pictures I meant to buy, but the line was long and we were on a tight schedule if we wanted to get another ride in before our next show.

We met up with Mimi, grabbed a quick frozen lemonade and headed for Star Tours….I guess I was preoccupied with my drink because I didn’t take any pictures at or near Star Tours.

We had planned on seeing the Indiana Jones show this day, but for those of you who watched the news or were at Disney World during this time, you might remember a CM was killed the day before and they cancelled all performances….so we decided to go to Lights Motor Action Stunt show next.
Here we are heading down the Streets of America on our way to the show.

Loving Angela pushing the stroller LOL!

Momo and I posed for a couple of quick pictures while Angela found a good covered area for the stroller since she got a message on her pager that it was about to start raining.

Up Next… Lights Motor Action!

I love how friendly Angela is! She is cute too! I love the "scared" picture! So brave of Taylor! Dallas liked ToT until he was almost 6. He had been riding it for about 3 years before and suddenly decided it was scary!

I love the Monsters outfit and I hope you got to see them! What a shame about the CM at Indy. I remember reading about it.

So we arrived at Lights Motor Action and Angela led us through a door and to an elevator where someone was waiting with a clipboard….she let them know we were the Fleeman party and they welcomed us and opened up the elevator….. Something about that felt pretty cool that they knew we were coming. We were led to the VIP seating and had a couple whole rows to ourselves. We had our choice of front row or second, since we were the only ones there we sat in the second row and used the front row for our feet…. It felt nice to stretch out and relax a little.
Here we are before the show….

Only Angela and Taylor paid attention to me….

I really enjoyed the show. If you haven’t seen it before, it is worth checking out. There are lots of awesome stunts, but it is soooo cool when after they do the stunt, they show you the tricks they use to pull it off. The stunt is still impressive, but it is funny to see things the way they really are and how they make them work, and then they even show you what it would look like in a movie after editing on a large TV screen. I don’t want to ruin the show for anyone, so I won’t tell you any of the secrets they revealed.
Here are a ton of shots from the show:

The pictures of the UP characters fawning all over Taylor's outfit make me so happy! That must have been so much fun!

I can't believe Taylor wasn't scared on TOT! Tessa rode it once and said she never wants to ride it again, ever, in her entire life! :rotfl: Sawyer refused to even try it!

Awesome pics of the stunt show!!

Awesome TR! I just started and finished reading it nonstop! I love, love, love your DD's clothes! I wish I could sew! Almost makes me want to learn! What a great mom you are!

It really was great.... in case I haven't told you enough times your embroidery designs TOTALLY ROCK!

I am a little concerned now that Taylor has no fear, I read some news article the other day that said something about children with no fear at 3 are the criminals of tomorrow lol.... I got a little concerned!

Thanks for joining and thank you.... the disboards is what made me learned to sew, and I only started a few months before our trip.... you can do it!

Wow! What a trip! LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE all your customs, they are gorgeous! I will definitely have to keep you in mind to make outfits for our next trip (yet TBD).

So glad your photos were saved and your trip report is back on!!! Your customs are awesome!!!

Way to go, Taylor!!!! I can't believe she was brave enough. That little Taylor is something else. I loved her comment to 'chill out', too. :lmao: So cute.
That's awesome about the special elevator into Lights Motors Action. Having to wait in SUCH a long line for that show really changes your perspective. It is a cool show, though. That explosion in the end is pretty amazing. We felt the heat and we were clear up in the back of the risers. I thought it must be scorching hot for people in the front!
Money well spent on the VIP tour! Angela seems so sweet. And the VIP access to rides, well, I can certainly see how one might get used to something like that:rotfl:

Thank you so much for sharing your amazing trip! Taylor's outfits, they make me want to be that age again!

I can't wait to read the rest of you wonderful trip.

The stunt show sounds really neat. I have been to Disney World many times, but that is one show that I have never seen. It is on my definate "to do" list for my upcoming trip.

Yay! I was so spoiled.... I missed a few updates since your laptop came back and now I got to see all them all at once. :thumbsup2

Beautiful, beautiful outfits for Taylor and wonderful interactions with everyone!

Finally got caught up, I somehow didn't realize you were updating again!

I LOVE the "Up!" shots! Yay Taylor!

Wow, what a great TR! I just found it & am inspired to try and make a Cinderella working dress for my DD. What a lot of fun.

I just found your report and I loved reading it, Your daughters outfits are so neat....I have 2 boys that aren't really into what they wear......I can't wait to read the rest..
