Someone must really like Mansion Game

I just wanted to say I feel everyones pain. And even though I sit on the mansion hall of fame as it is my fav game. I too find 50 ghosts hard to achieve when other players only need 25. Some times when VMK is so busy it is really hard to control my character in the mansion. So getting 25 is very possible in two games. But 50 in two games when mansion is running slow is really hard. Of course we have the few selfish kids that you ask to play three rounds for a quest and they are to concerned about winning.

(So littlebelle explains and of course she is missing any ghosts she could catch.

Oppenent: I wanted to win

I knew my connection was really slow making it hard to get the ghosts in two rounds. Bad move because if she ever needs help from me she will never get it for her selfish act. I was at that point doing the quest for another Dis person who could not get 50 ghosts.

Next round I played with two players and they let it go three rounds I really could have beat them but since they agreed to play three rounds I let them win. Not only did they get the credit for the win, the extra 40 points and also all the extra ghosts by having a 3rd round. So if you play fair and help others it too can be rewarded.

I was so mad at the selfish act. And when you have selfish players playing HM with all the rooms so full it just makes it even more frustrating trying to finish a 50 ghost quest.

And if I am frustrated and I live at the mansion the people who do not must be so agravated they have turned a permanent shade of furious red.

Actually, I noticed that you don't even have to win Pirates. Maybe you just have to get 1000 points?

Okay, I'm off my high-horse. But please, VMK staff, if you do read this, reconsider the difficulty levels in your quests. These are supposed to be fun. Or, if you really want to maintain a few "difficult" quests, at least bring ALL the mini-games into some sort of parity so that you don't consistently favor just the one Mansion group.

Honestly, since they have gone overboard on the difficulty of the quests, I don't find any of the vmk quest fun anymore. In fact I hate them. I did a couple of each one this weekend just for the prizes but I was bored and wanted to be somewhere else.


Haunted mansion was my favorite game before this weekend. I liked playing it just for itself. I liked trying to weave though the other colors ghost without getting caught. But I doubt I ever play it again "just for fun". Thanks for ruining it VMK.

Not to mention that I played the darned thing TWICE, got enough ghosts each time , didn't count vacuuming the other players.......and TWICE I have not moved on in the quest! ARG!

You only had to play twice -- cool. I had to play about 6-7 times to get 50 ghost. I either dc, the other players left, or I was short by 1-2 ghost.

There is a good thing about it being challenging to some players. They will trade a lot for it! Before I got my microphones today, I heard somebody was trading a Stitch pin for a microphone.

On the other side of the arguement, it's frustrating when you can't get it. You stress out and you know what they say, everytime you stress out, you lose 15 minutes of your life. VMK IS KILLING US!!!

The last few events have been SO STRESSFUL to me, I was very upset and angry. I told my husband if I die of a heart attack trying to play VMK, I wanted him to sue VMK--not for money, but to demand they make the events less hard; because the stress level was too high.

I think the crux of this is that there is no way most children are able to do these difficult quests and VMK needs to fix the bugs and get a new server and the VMK staff need a reality check and a little DISNEY MAGIC!l

I agree with everything said on this thread, but remember to make your self hear to VMK you have to write to them and tell them how you feel, most especially the parents of children that play the game. It's lets off stream to complain here but only by letting VMK will there be any possible change.

I mis-stated - I QUIT after two tries, both times achieving 50 ghosts ( therefore over 100 of the little buggers ) and VMK did not register the win.
During the first game I was so close and the other person started to "heartily discuss" the fact that I could add games together to get 50 ghosts. As another poster stated, all the while I could have been catching ghosts! I even stopped on level 2 because she had to win for us to move on. That's when she disagreed and said she was leaving anyway. She did stay in the game and apologized, but by then I could have had way over the 50. I guess VMK would have not given me the credit anyway....

Cover me! I'm going in again.....................!!!
