Is it just me or does it seem to anyone else that whomever VMK staff dreams up the quests really, really, likes the Haunted Mansion game? The thing that troubles me is that for the other mini-games, the quest is usually set near the minimum requirement (20,000 Jungle Cruise, 50,000 fireworks, 1,000 Pirates).
Frankly, I think ALL the minigames should be at similar levels. If you are going to set the minimum difficulty low in the other minigames, then the Mansion should be down there too; not set at a whopping level 3 (which is what I figure the 50 ghosts work out to if you average 16-18 ghosts and can play all three levels).
Or, if you are going to favor those who are good at one game over another, at least mix it up so that the pirate and fireworks excelers can have their day to look down their little cyber noses at the ones who complain they can'd "do" fireworks over 200,000.
I don't know which is worse. The maddening effort to get 50 ghosts or the guests who are good at the came crowing about how easy it is.
After a solid effort I did manage to get over 50 and that was pure luck of the draw in whom I was playing with. I'm pretty decent at most games (other than this one) and I really feel for those who don't have the hang of it.
Okay, I'm off my high-horse. But please, VMK staff, if you do read this, reconsider the difficulty levels in your quests. These are supposed to be fun. Or, if you really want to maintain a few "difficult" quests, at least bring ALL the mini-games into some sort of parity so that you don't consistently favor just the one Mansion group.
Edit to add: Thanks VMK Staff for easing up on the Haunted Mansion game for High School Musical.
