How does that work? We have a large stroller and don't really want to lug it on the ship. Also does anyone know if they provide towels for the pools and/or Castaway Cay? Or Do we need to bring beach towels? We leave on Saturday and board Sunday, can't Wait!!!!

You just go to guest services, they put a 100.00 charge on your room and when you return it they take the charge off. They give out bath sized towels for the pool and beach...if you like a real beach towel then either bring your own or buy one for 20.00 on the ship. The pool towels are pretty small.

thanks for the info. so much to know and remember. do you need to request the stroller ahead of time or can you get one when you board? sorry one more question, are they regular strollers that recline or are they just the umbrella type? thank you again :earsboy:

They were a Graco I think, regular stroller that reclines. I don't think you can reserve one before hand.

thanks, cute puppies. my mom has a min schnauzer that we babysit for her often. I have two chihuahuas and a pom-mix. thank you again.

Our friends inquired about the onboard strollers and were told that they had a limited supply so go to guest service early to request one.

Thanks for posting this info. I would never have known about the stollers without this board. That will be nice to not have to drag along the stroller on the trip!!!

We didn't request a stroller until the second day of our three-night cruise, and we still got one. Maybe the demand isn't as great on the shorter cruises, but the ship was completely sold out. It was pretty grungy, though (full of food crumbs, and the padding on the handle was all torn up) so perhaps we got one of the last ones.

They are full-size, reclining Graco strollers. We only used it at dinner. We had late seating, so we parked the stroller next to the table with DD (5 months old, at the time,) sleeping in it. Here's a picture of her.DD sleeping through dinner

Otherwise, we preferred to use our umbrella stroller, which was easier to maneuver through the ship, or I just carried her in the sling.

Here's a picture of her sleeping the the pack and play provided by DCL, just in case you're interested. DCL pack and play

I got one the thrid day of the cruise and I had no trouble getting one either....
