About a week or two ago, someone had asked when the ballots would be received. The savedisney.com website didn't have this information, so I emailed the website and this is the response I just received this evening.:D

Your communication to Mr. Disney has been forwarded to me for a reply to your question. All proxies should be mailed out from New York City no later than Friday, February 13, 2004. As they are being sent in bulk mailing, they should be received by all shareholders anytime within two days and one week. - Mark Martin - Save Disney Web Site Team.

Hope this helps anyone who is watching their mail for the package!! :bounce:

I got mine today via the brokerage I use.

Thanks for this info. I asked a question about a week ago regarding this matter but didnt get a lot of feedback. My broker told me yesterday that I should get it very soon if the meeting is coming up that quickly.

For some interesting info on this, go read 2 articles on Jim Hill's site. Some of us are still waiting for our shareholder packets, while others have gotten packets, but no proxies.

Thanks!

I'm thinking that we're going to have to find a way to vote without getting that packet. Dh says he doesn't think he updated our address when we moved so we don't know if it'll find us or not. :( Anyone have any idea how to update your address with them?

If you put in a change of address with the post office, wouldn't they forward it to you??

We were getting so much junk mail at the apartment that DH selected *not* to forward and we'd notify those we cared about. Only problem with that is those that he missed.

Interesting thing is, some places *have* found our new address and we didn't notify them. The Disney Catalog is one of those that found us. So I'm hoping it'll find us. :)

In the meantime, didn't someone mention a way to vote without using the official form in case it didn't get to you?

Are your shares held through a brokerage Rajah?

I hold my Disney stock through Buy and Hold. I get almost all of my shareholder notification stuff through email -- and most of my Proxy Voting is done over the internet through Proxyvote.com.

I would imagine whoever holds your investment account should be able to help you in getting the materials you need.

We only have one, DH got it for me for an anniversary present 2 years ago. I have *no* idea how he got it, how it's held or anything like that.

So I could possibly vote via internet?
