Yes, they were a jerk. Should a thread have been made? I don't really think so.

We all need to be nicer to each other. We only have one chance at this stuff so let's make the right choice here and not attack people.. please?

ok deal. but just for the record im not attacking, im calling him out for what he said. i am NOT a bad singer. im learning, and im not expecting to be the best anyone has ever heard, i was looking for possitive constructive criticism, not to be bashed and embarrassed.

tricycle, whatever your name is. i am NOT a bad singer. your wrong. and im not entirely sure what gives you the right to tell me im not. people who have heard me in person say i am good. and these are people who tell me the truth no matter what. and im not talking about my family. i mean people who actually know what good singing sounds like.

ITA Shelby, my thoughts exactly. I didn't hear your singing thread, but honestly, if you post that sort of thing online in a semi-anonymous community, not everyone's going to like it. sure most people on here wouldn't say that because we all know each other pretty well, but you have to know not everyone's going to like your singing. i haven't heard it, so i can't say one way or another. but saying that you don't like how someone sings isn't entirely rude & heartless -- but thena gain, i haven't seen the offending post.
but honestly nate, i think making this thread was totally uncalled for. like Shelby said you couldve just PMed the guy...Tricycle couldn't have known that you had a confidence problem, just like he couldn't have known that LE had ADHD. IMHO this thread shouldn't have been made, and that's just my 2 cents.
we always have issues on the TB with people getting along, and making threads about it never helps.
