Someone else's 40% code

I know that you can't use someone else's code and that a person can book up to 3 rooms on their code.

If my friend books both hers and my family's packages using her code and then has to cancel her trip, would they cancel the discount on my room as well? Or, would we still be able to go?

I do not know the "real" answer, but when we traveled with my mom using her code we were told that if she did not travel with us we would lose the discount. She was staying in our room and we applied the discount to my inlaws room also. I can't remember now when we checked in if they asked if she was with us when we checked in, but I think they did.

This was just what I was looking for... So, i got a code... i booked.. now my mom and brother want to go too...Can I call and add them on to get another 2 rooms...?
