Might be going in the summer for 9 days. We usually stay at home which is SSR or occasionally OKW which I love both. We haven't stayed at a monorail resort since we stayed in the A frame of the CR in 2008, prior to being DVC members. So here are my questions about PVB...

Parking - is it the main Poly lot and is there a charge? How far a walk to the villas?
Rooms - OKW has the largest studio and has 2 queen beds are these PVB studios comparable to other DVC studios as far as size and beds, except for OKW?

Crowded - Poly always seems so busy or is that just the lobby? What about the pools?

TIA

There is a parking lot right in front of the Villas. Self parking is free at all Disney owned & operated resorts at WDW.

The PVB studios are larger (447 sq ft at PVB vs 390 sq ft at OKW). The PVB studios have a split bath which takes up a good portion of the difference in room size.

Don't wait too much longer to decide & book. The 7 month window has already passed for June & July. As of today, you won't find 9 consecutive studio nights at PVB until after July 4

Poly studios and property are fab and you’ll love it. The location and proximity to TTC, monorail, walk to GF will have you spoiled!! Rooms are pretty dark which is the only criticism I have and it enough to keep me away for a while because we aren’t park warriors. The pool is also a mob scene. Chairs are really difficult to get in spring let alone summer. Ok, so there are two critiques. I give it an 8.5/10

I LOVED the Poly. The shower in our room was reason alone to return ;)

I felt the studio was much more spacious than the studios at AKV, and the beds far more comfortable. Even the sleeper sofa was nice.

My kids loved the pools and the splash play area, but we went in early Fall and it was pretty quiet.

We all enjoyed the grounds and the restaurants. Parking was right in front of our building (Pago Pago).

I really liked being able to walk to the TTC.

There really isn't any more usable space, actually less than OKW. That hall and extra shower room take up about 80 Sq Ft of the 447 total. There is very limited storage, so if you bring many clothes, good luck. The DVC units are remote from the Poly resort, but very close to the monorail to MK or EPCOT. I think for the few extra points we will continue to stay at OKW in a 1 BR unit.

We love the poly! We stayed recently in Tokelau on cash, which is next to the Oasis pool and close to the buses. Also not far from the TTC.

It was lovely.

I stayed in a Polynesian Lake View studio in February 2017. It was nice, had a nice view of the MK castle. The convenient walk to the TTC was nice when going to EPCOT. All in all a lovely, enjoyable stay. But it just didn't feel like "home" like OKW. But I do want to eventually try most of the onsite DVCs.
