Someone brought DONUTS to work!!!!

Everyone keeps asking me if I wanted one!!! I just ate an apple and am drinking my water!!! I am going to go make a cup of coffee but NO DONUT!!! I just got back on track!!! NO NO NO NO!!!!

Donuts, bad-very bad, make you break out with terrible pimple on your nose- people will call you Broomhilda the witch, it'll pack itself right onto your buns making those new shorts you're gonna buy to celebrate that 20 pound clippie feel too snug, it will leave sugar deposits on your teeth which if you don't floss immediately will set up a haven for cavities. Then your dentist will have to inform you "this won't hurt a bit- just keep your mouth relaxed while I insert this 4 inch long needle and wiggle it around a bit to ensure you won't feel the force of the jackhammer digging into your tooth to repair that cavity left by that donut you ate 3 months ago."

There- ya still think you're gonna cave and eat a donut??

You can do it! I think you need to print out those inspirational quotes, shred them up and then toss them in the air all around you so you will be surrounded by inspiration!!!

Think of how great you will feel when you go home today and say, "Ha, I didn't eat no stinkin' donut!"

I am just teasing of course....you MUST RESIST THE DONUT!!! They are SOOOO not worth it!!! You are worth more than a lousy stinkin donut...and the only reason people ask you if you want one...is because they are WEAK and cant resist....so they try and drag you down with them.....!!!

Step away from the donut!!!! Good for you for staying strong! Just remember the commercial where everyone "wears" their food. There is a office meeting and everyone is sitting in chairs with a donut around their waist (looks like an innertube). Do you remember that one? Just envision everyone in the office with a donut attached to their hips.... What is their slogan..... LOVE YOURSELF IN THE MORNING!

Not only will you love yourself in the morning, but now as well for having the strenght to say no!

OK so far so good!!!! Had lunch all except my salad wich is probably next and no donuts!!!! 80 OUnces of water almost gone as well!!!! Ok Now to get throught the rest of the day!!

WOW ... you guys are good! I came to work yesterday to find a dozen Krispy Kremes on my desk (they were a fundraiser I ordered weeks ago and forgot about). I put mine in my desk (to take home to my dh and kids). At a meeting, I was offered one by a co-worker and resisted ... but I will admit that the only reason I resisted was because I really wanted to enjoy one at home last night with the family Did I enjoy it ??? ... you betcha ! And when I logged those 6 points in my journal last night, I found that I had left room during the day to have that treat. I froze the rest and will send them in dh's lunch.

Good for you for resisting ... and lmhall2000's whole dentist scenario gave me a chill down my back!
