and stole my gps. The insurance will pay for the car (less the $500 deductable) but not the garmin. Do you have any recommendations for one that talks but isn't too expensive?
BTW (so sad and flustered) the car door is bent out as they pried it open. I kept hearing all this road noise while driving and finally figured out the window on the passenger side is bent out (the door frame) so that there's nearly a 2 inch gap at the top.
They didn't take my CDs but did take my jacket. It's my new (08) smart car. so sad
Now here's my karma nasty side: joke's on the thief because the garmin was dying and the battery isn't replaceable without sending it in for $80 so it won't work unless it's plugged in hee hee hee.
I'm so flustered and full of anxiety and disappointment. It's such an odd thing having this happen. Wasn't prepared (but then, who is?)

. I think I have the Garmin Nuvi 255? and it speaks the road names I bought it on Black Friday for a little over $100 at Dick's.
