My Disney Countdown clock says I have only 1 day and 22 hours before our WDW adventure begins, yet I'm feeling kind of down. I don't get it. :confused3

I should be walkin' on air, but all I feel is tired. Financially, we're doing great as my husband just received a very nice bonus today from his employer...Boeing. I've planned for everything I can think of including printing out some of the menus around WDW. I've even laminated little cards with various Epcot entertainment and times of their appearance.

Maybe it's because I'm just tired period. After spending 11 years at home raising our son, I just went back to work about 3 months ago. Or maybe I'm just so used to waiting for this day to arrive that I can't shake myself out of the waiting mode. :hourglass

I sure would appreciate some cheering up from my fellow Disney-manics if you have a moment to spare.

:cheer2: Cheer up! You're going to the happiest place on earth! I'm so jealous I can hardly stand it. You've done all the work so as soon as you are on your way I hope you have the best time ever. I'm a working mom, too, but I'm always able to forget my "regular" life when I'm @WDW. I hope you have a truly magical trip.

That's probably it. Get a good night's sleep, and when you get up in the morning, try to have your first (or nearly first) thought be "Disney Tomorrow!" If you don't remember well first thing in the morning, leave a note on the bathroom mirror. It will probably make your day. :wizard:

Maybe you are like me and you have planned everything out. The time is nearing and you fear something will screw up your plans. Not that I am thinking this way or anything.

Oh and Ellyn, I'm from Lenoir. I'm like 40 minutes from you.

Thanks everyone. I'm feeling a little better, but, my...am I tired. It's only 7:15 PM and I'm already thinking "sleepy" time.

Maybe tomorrow, when I'm able to say, "WDW Tomorrow!", then just maybe I can snap out of this totally weird mood. Too bad I have to work Friday, but since our plane doesn't leave until late Friday night, maybe it's a good thing that I don't have to stay home :hourglass those last few hours. :bored:

Prestonsmomma, this is crazy. My youngest DS is named PRESTON. He's 16. Nice to "meet" you.

Get outta here. You have to be kidding. It's such an uncommon name (one reason we named him Preston). Nice to meet you too by the way.

I know how you feel. We leave tomorrow and I am kinda blah. I think I have put so much into planning everything and getting ready that I got overwhelmed and pooped. Plus I am already fretting about having to come home. But I know once I see the Disney signs I will perk up. :) It is hard to be sad or blue at Disney!! So I hope you have a great trip!!!!!! :goodvibes

Have you clicked on the disey site today ? I know whenever I do & I hear that Disney music I am instantly lifted up into a disney high.
It gives me that little bit of extra zip & Makes me excited & my trip isn't until January. Have a great trip!!!

Maybe you need some "me time." When I get tired and cranky, I decide that for the next 30 minutes I am going to do exactly what I want. Sometimes that means a walk, sometimes it means a "bad" movie, sometimes a bubble bath. So do what YOU want for just a bit.

Yes, I know how you feel. I am tired so much of the time lately. We leave a week from Tuesday. I am very excited buy so many things are coming up now. We are going to soccer state tournament this weekend, so there is added expense of hotel, food, etc.. I was not counting on when I booked a year ago. Two car repairs last week too! The same day both cars broke down I got notification that our health insurance went way up!!! 60% rate increase, so I know stress is causing my tiredness.
So we are really looking forward to a break from reality!!!
