There's no excuse for security to have that kind of behavior and lack of enforcement. They shouldn't treat you that way or talk to you like that. I'd be mad as a hornet over it. The, "do you understand?" coupled with locking you out just to watch you walk around would have me ! That's crazy. Did you say anything back to them? I'd be tempted to report them to management.

You've had too many bad things happen for it to be a vacation! Hopefully the worst is behind you. Hope the rest of your vacation goes well.

I'm sorry you were treated so badly, but I can't say I'm surprised.

I live about four hours from Myrtle Beach, but I don't vacation there. I have family nearby, and we might go into Myrtle Beach to shop or eat, but it's not a nice place. When I was a kid, it was great. Not anymore.

A few miles up or down the shore, you can find great places to vacation.

They wonder why the Pavilion is closing and the answer is no one wants to take their family to downtown with all the pimps, dealers and hookers!

Ash, I hope your vacation improves! One time my son's sandals were taken from a water park. I was ! Yuck about the pee and I would report security.

Wow that's really rude. I hope someone steals your shoes while on the beach without another pair, sheesh. Ash, that really sucks. I would be really pissed off too and it wasn't like your day was going well to begin with. Hopefully tomorrow turns out better and you're able to get some comfy shoes!

Well here's hoping your vacation improves. It can only go up from here. Sorry about the shoes and the lack of security. I am always amazed at what people will steal. Someone stole my DS's Thomas the Train Engine beach towel at a water park. He was crushed and couldnt understand why someone would take it.
