I read a while back that there is now some kind of scavenger thing in world showcase for the kids and when they complete it there is a prize.

Anybody have info on this?

Yes I read this also. It's called Goofy's scavenger hunt and is at EPCOT. I read it on the employee website, but not sure if it's been posted on any official sites yet. Sounds interesting and something my GS would like to do during his July trip. Guess you'll have to wait to see if WDWinfo.com or WDWIG.com (or another site) posts anything to get more information about it.

Goofy's Epcot Guide features Goofy, as he walks you through each of the Epcot pavilions and attractions. Each attraction has it's own multiple choice puzzle, and after solving the puzzle there will be a letter you transfer to solve a final puzzle. When you're finished you can turn it in for a small prize.

Fun, huh? :)

Where do you pick up "Goofy's Epcot Guide"? Is this something for the future or is it already going on? Anybody done it yet?

You get the guides at the 2 entrances of the park and guest relations.

Is this replacing the Kidcot stations? We still have to do the masks each year but this sounds really neat.

Good question!

Do they still have the kidcot stations?

Is it still mask making?

It does not replace the masks, it is in addition to them. My DD did both a couple of weeks ago and received a certificate after completing Goofy's guide. It was fun and made visiting each pavilion more interesting. I thought I would probably know the answers right off, but we definitely had to visit the countries to figure most of them out.

Is there an age limit on participation? Honestly, this sounds like a lot of fun for me on my next solo trip, yet I could hardly qualify as a "kid". And unfortunately, I don't have any grandkids yet to do it with.
