Some tips that I would like to share

We rented one from A Baby's Best Friend http://www.abbf.com/ last summer. They dropped it off at our hotel, and picked it up there after the trip. It worked perfectly and I would recommend this to anyone who needs a stroller. The cost to rent at Disney is just too high.

Thanks for this recommendation! Much cheaper than Orlando Stroller Rental! I just reserved a single jogging stroller for us! Thanks again!

I have looked into this extensively for my upcoming trip. Here are some thoughts:

I like abbf because they don't charge you until right before your visit, unlike all the others who charge when you make the reservation, even if it is a year away.

However, I used Orlando Stroller Rentals this time because they are the only rental company I have found that offers insurance. It's not much more expensive, and you are covered if the stroller is damaged, lost or stolen. I really appreciate that peace of mind.

Another consideration is if you are renting a car seat. Orlando CRIB Rental delivers to the airport which could be very helpful. Some of the other companies won't do that. Also I have spoken with the owner and she was super nice and helpful.

It all depends on your individual needs.

I had to take my son to Celebration's ER last year and I thought it was great. In and out quickly and everyone was super nice. I'd definitely go there again.

Here's a few of the ones I use every year: bring empty water bottles and have the TS folks fill up with ice before you leave. the ice will melt quickly and you'll have free cold water on demand. From home, pack snacks, breakfast bars, trail mix, etc in doubled zip locs for the parks and your flights no matter what age you are--buying those throughout a stay is painful. Use EMH hours (we're evening fans) and FPs extensively. there is so much you can do in those extra hours. We are TIW lovers and also share entrees and desserts amongst the 4 of us. Nothing worse than stuffing yourself at WDW and it allows us to be hungry enough to enjoy our next meal. I get new glo items--this year we'll be wearing glo-leis from Oriental Trading co. in the parks at night. Finally, Buy only those items that say "exclusive to WDW parks" or have resosrt logos. That will eliminate those things you can get in a mall's Disney store or online. We leave Friday for another wonderful trip and can't wait:cool1:

Thanks for all your great tips! I'm just getting started with the in-depth planning for my trip and your tips of experience are very helpful!

We had six mosquito free nights and then I was almost eaten alive while waiting for my DDs to ride Splash. I didn't even feel them land on me but the after effects are horrible. I have found that I am allergic to WDW mosquitoes. So, my first tip is to use insect repellant. Second tip is to pack Benadryl itch stopping gel - my bites were stinging/hurting as if my legs were on fire and Benadryl gel has worked wonders! I wish I had known about it; I packed cortisone cream but that didn't work as well as the Benadryl.

I carried around a 1 liter bottle of water. Also asked for a cup of ice water at all counter service restaurants to replenish my bottle as well as our misting fan.

My only other tip is to FP whenever possible and do use the EMHs if you are staying on property.
