Some thoughts on Photoconnect

I'm assuming these queue photo-ops are only for people who purchase photoconnect, as I never recalled seeing that ET set before while waiting in line, just for one example.

When I was there for my honeymoon in 2013, the E.T. store staff would not allow my husband to take any pictures with his own camera, so this might be hit or miss.

Maybe I was lucky or maybe rules changed

That is bad you did not get to do the ER set pictures on your honeymoon

Can someone explain to me how to add edit a photo? Last year after I finished adding a border I was able to click download. This year my only option is to "Add to cart"

Someone else posted that you can get a photographer to take several shots. You just need to ask him/her to walk around with you.

We had a photographer come up to us near Simpsons and say "Follow me!" and then he took us around the Simpsons area for a good 45 minutes, taking photos. It was our first day, not long after we'd gotten there, and it was a very exciting and unexpected surprise!

At character meets etc with handlers or photo people, are they more than happy to snap pictures for you with your phone or camera?

Really suprised at the high price for photoconnect for 3 days in a row.

Still unsure on whether or not to get this or not for our december trip.

When I was there for my honeymoon in 2013, the E.T. store staff would not allow my husband to take any pictures with his own camera, so this might be hit or miss.

This was our experience in June 2016 as well. You could not take any pictures with your own camera.

We used Photoconnect one year and weren't impressed - could only find a couple of photographers, were using our express pass since we stayed onsite so didn't get any of the in que pictures and our Spiderman picture had horrible lighting so we have never displayed that. We've never gotten it on any trip since.

I returned last night from a two week stay onsite

Was in the parks everyday for partial days
Morning or afternoon or hour before closing

I looked for photographers but only saw them in certain areas

My thought is if more peeps sent emails or called guest services to ask for more photographers to be in the park, UO would work on that

My opinion is UO listens to the park guests and do take their suggestions and requests seriously

Yes, our experience was that the handlers were happy to use our own camera (phone). I don't think we'll get Photoconnect again--very pricey.
