So our trip dates are coming up (Sept. 10-17th) and this will be the first time we have dined at any of the sit down restaurants. Will you guys take a look and let me know if there is anything you would adjust?

A little background, there will be 8 of us, 5 adults, 1 teenager and 2 toddlers. We will be staying at the Polynesian.

Sept. 10: Ohana - 4pm

Sept. 11: Crystal Palace - 8am, Skipper Canteen - 4pm

Sept. 12: Kona - 5pm

Sept. 13: Sci-Fi Dine in - 3:30pm

Sept. 14: Be Our Guest - 4pm

Sept. 15: Food and Wine day

Sept. 16: BOG - 8:30am, Via Napoli - 5pm

A couple of thoughts I had were to was to move Kona to the last night we're there and grab a different ADR for the 12th (a couple of ADRs available are Liberty Tree, Rose & Crown...) It feels like we have a few similar style meals the first couple of days and I am trying to differentiate.

I was also wanting to know everyone's opinions on Sci-fi dine in and 50's prime time with a toddler?

My thinking with the 12 and an ADR would depend on how much park time you would miss out on regardless of where you choose to eat. Staying at the POLY you can hop on the monorail and be back to MK in no time. But if Kona is a DHS or AK day you are missing out on park time. Just some stuff to consider.

It is a AK day, but we're not 100% sure on how long we will stay with the toddlers.

It depends on where you want to be that night. If you are going back to the resot just for dinner I would skip it and go to Epcot. We like Rose & Crown a lot, but if you want to add a little more character dining, I would suggest Garden Grill. It is a good meal and fun.

I think that you seem to be heavy on the MK, which is understandable with toddlers, but we found that there is a lot to keep little ones occupied with in Epcot as well, and it also is conducive to letting little ones rest. My DGD was a kid who was overwhelmed after being barraged with the constant stimuli that is Disney, so she welcomed the respite that strolling around the World Showcase gave her. We did too. Don't discount that aspect of Disney with little ones. It's a lot, expecially if they are not used to the commotion that a bright, loud larger than life environment is.
