some things never change only dad wants to go

Hi every one let me start this pre trip report by saying if you can handle my spelling errors and grammer you will truly have a blast in this report. Let me start by telling you a little about my family.

There is the little ( oh i mean big) princess she is 7 now won't be 8 until thanksgiving she stand 57 inches and has a problem with kids in class making fun of her height. Her name is Sabrina and last year in school the teacher made her right down the one wish she had and it was to meet Aurora or for us crazy dad's that don't no the name sleeping beauty da dad you should no that.

Next is my 14 year old son he is a charmer i can't keep the girls away and really i am afraid of taking him i might not get him back lol. He has never been a big disney fan, but remembers the last time he went. We went to disneyquest and they had this build your own rollercoaster and he couldn't go on it to small and he was 8 at that time. (See strange family large daughter small son. Don't worr he hit a groth spert and now at 14 is 5 foot 8)
This might have been hte greatst thing to happen to both of us thought. He took a strong liking to rollercoasters and now is in hornors classes in high school in computer design and for me i get to go back because he wants to rid that darn home made rollercoaster. His name is Jonathan

Then there is my wife the one i wed 10 years ago and boy at time i regreat that and this is one of those time I know you are thinking how rud but wait you will laugh. before i met my wife she traveled to Florida and became a cm at the happest place on earth. Worked there for about 6 weeks and got called to the office. Vicki ( that is her name) we have to let you go there is a warrent out for your arest in Colorado and until it is taken care of you can't work here. Not knowing what was going on and tears in her eyes she came back to the most lovely city in the United States and under 16 inches of snow went to the police station and turned her self in. Ok why was the warrent she had a $24 outstanding fauiler to use a turn signal ticket she forgot to pay and instead of letting her pay the fine she spent a weekend in jail under a warrent and finaly got to see a judge and was let go. Noe when ever we mention going to Disney world Shes says no way and wants to kill us all.

Then there is The story teller me Terry I am the disney love of the family I have 4 trips to Disneyland under my belt all when i was a kid and the first was the first summer the land was open. I can remember getting a little ticket book and that was a joke the books didn't give you enought big rides like pirates haunted and space. Even with that i have had some of the best times in disenyland and i will share them in this pre trip report as we go.

Ok as you can figure me and my wife have battled for years about this trip and of course i always lost, because she is a master briber and after a short time the kids would forget about flordia. And now we get to today I am not taking the rejection anymore so i booked a stay for 11 days and I am going to tell her we are going to unervisial for the whole 11 days but in truth it is split 7 at disney.

We have booked 4 days at universila on sit , because the fact we get fast passes on all the rides well worth it to me and my family. We are staying off site at disney. That is my descion the last time we went to disney the emh were a waste in our minds it seemed the park was way more crowded then during the day and a lot of stuff was closed.

We are comming May 26th to June 5th 2012
With the harsh winters we get in the Colorado Mountains the sun and fun of florida will be nice in may and the kids here will be out for the summer.

Now for the part i need help on. the last time we went to Disney there were a few things I didn't like first was not being able to find food places open after the parks closed. This is the biggedt reason i am not staying at disney MK closed at 12 midnight and by the time we took the bus back everything was closed not even a place to get a candy bar or soda. remember we are in Colorado and 12 there is 10 here still early.

Next was that darn bus it took so long to load and get you too you stop and my kids then were real young and in a stroller that won't be a problem this time.

I am alreaay excited to go i know it is still 8 months away but I for one like the time to pay for the trip that way when i go it is less of a burdon and makes the trip more fun for the family and I.

Oh last thing i was going to tell you about me story at the land it was in 1976 dec to jan 1977 (i know i am an old fart so all you young wopper snappers be nice.) I was in line for pirates and there was a man and his family that got on he boat and we jumped right in heck i was 9 and my frind was 9 the cm looked at this man and asked if it was ok and he said yes. I was wareing an orange crush t shirt for the denver Broncos Football team defense. And this man's son had on all the Oakland Raider gear you could want. The Man and myself talked the whole rid about football as Oakland was comming to denver for the afc Champtionship game when we got off he told my his name was Fred Blintncof ( hope spelled right ) and I got his autograph on the same page as Donald Duck how lucky right.

So now as the add says my daughter is 2 years older and getting out of Disney stuff likes nik and my son only wants to go if he can leave the family and find the girls and my wife still remembers the 2 nights behind bars thanks to Disney World and that leaves me the only one that wants to go. But i will bet everyone will have a great time. Mre to come as the trip gets closer
