We have made lots and lots of trips to WDW and have always enjoyed the dining there but like to try something new on each trip. This year we are starting with Garden Grill which technically is not new but we haven't eaten there since it was the Land Grill ... varied menu and no chipmunks. That venue is pretty self explanatory but for the first time ever we are venturing into the world of GF dining and have booked a 9:15 PM "dinner" at Narcoosee's (any guess what we are hoping to see from there?). We have perused the menu and although we do enjoy seafood I am not sure that a full meal will sit well so late in the evening ... we generally are not late-nighters but wanted to catch Wishes without having to navigate the throngs in the park.
We will have at least one glass of wine (each) but rather than an appetizer and an entrée and dessert (can't skip that !
) We would probably order a couple of appetizers and side dishes (lobster mac and cheese comes to mind!) and dessert. Will they look at us like a couple of losers? We will dress for the occasion and we tip well (at least 20% generally) so maybe I shouldn't care. Frankly I find the GF a little intimidating!
On a lighter note we will (at last!
) be making our first trip to Beaches and Cream where I have been assured it is perfectly acceptable to skip the "meal" and go straight for dessert!
