Some rumors I heard on our recent trip

I was at wdw over labor day week and a cast member told me and my husband that the caribean beach resort was not only getting closed for renovations but was going to be sold and will be managed like the swan and dolphin.

That is so sad, that is the first Disney resort we ever visited.

Anyone esle hear about that?

A cast member told me 5 years ago that we'd be riding a monorail from the TTC to MGM Studios by now...

Wasn't this the same rumor we heard last year when Port Orleans French Quarter was closed? In fact, I read right here on the DIS how it was already confirmed that Port Orleans would never reopen in current form...

Just so long as history will continue to repeat itself, we're ok on this one.

I'll just say that that the Carribean's situation is the same as Port Orleans, a little cleaning, a little refurbishing, and a lot of wild rumors!
