It's been a week since we came back from Wonders so I thought I'll share some things:

1. My son prepaid parking which saved us some money. He chose parking that's right across from the ship. Very short walk from the parking to the ship. IT's called BRIC parking.
2. You have to wait in line until your time to embark. For example, we were scheduled for 11:30 am so we had to wait in line until 11:30 am. They were pretty strict about when you can enter the building to get the covid test. You can however check in your luggage first if you want. After checking in your luggage, you have to come back out and wait in line.
3. Once it's time, you enter a building to do covid test. Very simple and easy - do it your self. There were 2 screen with your reservation/boarding number (forgot which), you can check if you can pass or not to board the ship. We got e-mail later that we passed and should line up to go through registration which is showing passport and getting pictured. Looking up the information on the screen was faster than getting notified by the e-mail.
4. Once we showed our passport and got our picture taken we were told to get on the ship. Once we got on the ship, we got welcome by Mickey and Minnie. One host will take you aside and will tell you what you can do...like you can go to lunch (either buffet or restaurant) or go to your room. Luggage was outside our door when we got to our room after lunch.
5. Movies: I can't remember all the movies but for sure there was Shang Chi, Raya and the Last Dragon, and Jungle cruise. If you want to watch movies, make sure to arrive at least 1/2 hour early to see it. Since they have limited space, it get filled very quickly. However, there are other movies running outside where the pool is.
6. There was 2 live shows: Disney Dreams: An Enchanted Classic and Frozen. These also fills up quickly since limited seating. For boh show and movies, guests are seated every other row so seats are limited.
7. PALO: If you are interested in dining in Palo but couldn't get reservation, AS SOON as you get on the ship and was greeted by the Mickey and Minnie, you can either talk to guest services or open your Disney App and talk to dining relations to see if you can get the reservation.
8. Rotation of 3 restaurants: Your Head server, server, and assistant server rotates with you so that was really nice.
9. It was quite windy when we were at the sea but VERY HOT and HUMID when we docked in Cabo. We chose not to get off the ship because it was just too hot and humid. Note that line to get off the ship was very long.
10. Fireworks: Originally there was supposed to be 2 fireworks, 3rd and 4th night. Make sure to stand on "round blue spot" if you don't want to lose your place. If you are not standing on the "blue round spot", someone will take you to another available "blue round spot". From what I saw, all the spots were good. If you really want to watch fireworks, I would highly recommend you watch it on the first night and second night if you can. For use, due to high winds, 2nd night of fireworks was cancelled so we were glad we saw it on the first night.
11. Disembarkment Day: This was very confusing. You are assigned to eat breakfast at the restaurant. I can't remember but I don't think we were assigned to time so you can take your time to go eat. It took us forever to get off the ship. First of all, we were late coming back to San Diego and it took forever for customer to clear us. No one had clear understanding when we should get off. There was "express" line and line was long (I think express line was if you had your luggage with you?) but since we put out luggage out night before, we were told we will be called according to color of our luggage tag. They never called by color tags to let us know when it was our turn to get off. We had to ask few time if we can get off and finally we were told to go ahead.

I think that's it. Sorry for the long post...hope I made sense.

EDIT: 10/3/21

1. if you need to use the bunk beds, you cannot take it down yourself. It's locked. You have to ask person who cleans your room. We met our as we were going out to dinner and she asked us if we need to use bunkbed or sofa bed. We told her we need sofa bed but not the bunbed so when we came back from dinner, she had made bed for us. Note that you'll have your room cleaned in the morning and evening for turndown bed service. Each night, there would be animal towels on your bed with few chocolate which was nice.
2. Those who are using insulin, there's red box in the bathroom for you to put your needles.
3. There is mickey waffles at the buffet.
4. Potato hash in buffet and breakfast menu is the BEST! Its so tasty and crunchy!
5. I was surprised how good chicken strips were by the pool deck. I don't eat chicken strips but was recommended by a friend and was really good.

Thanks for the report. I'm assuming this was one of the test cruises for cast members and family. Could you share what evening entertainment was available? Was there adult trivia, variety acts, games?

Yes, it was test cruise for cast members and family.

We were lucky to be invited by my son's friend. I can't remember if there was adult trivia but there was alot of Disney trivias, lots of 3D paper making (we did 3D ship, mini mouse, pirate mickey). My adult son and I enjoyed making them/ LOL! There was pirate/interacting show which was fun. We attended 3 bingo which was fun. You get chance to win money and goody bags.

9b. When I watched youtube, I saw that at Animator's Palate, all the guests would draw cartoon figure which will be displayed on the screen. Wonders does no

Thanks so much for sharing! The Wonder is my family’s favorite ship.

They do have the animation show on that ship but only for cruises that are at least 7 days long. It’s a very fun experience. Maybe you’ll be able to sail again so you can experience it! I assume you saw the show where the dining room changes color and Sorcerer Mickey comes out. That one is fun too.

Thanks for sharing your experiences, especially the terminal testing & results process. We’re sailing on the Wonder in a couple of weeks so that is very helpful info.

Did you do any tastings? Were there any available?

Also what is the name of the place you prepaid parking?

Thank you.

We didn't get to do any tastings. They were sold out really early before our departure. I checked while on board to see if any available but there were none.

We did try "drink of the day", non alcoholic and alcoholic and they were reasonably priced and good. Actually I liked non alcoholic drinks better...didn't taste much of alcohol in alcohol drink.

My son is sleeping right now. Will ask when he wakes up.

EDIT: My son says it's called BRIC Parking. 901 Bayfront Court, San Diego, CA 92101

You do not get covid testing time. When you registered, you requested your boarding time? Once it's your boarding time, they let you into the building. Remember if you are early, you can ask if you can check in your luggage first and then go back out to wait in line until your boarding time. Once you are allowed into the building, you are directed to a booth where you do self covid test (there's someone in the booth to make sure you are doing it correctly). Once you are done, you are told to go to waiting room. Be warned it gets really crowded eventhough they tried to separate by groups. There are 2 screen which will how by your boarding/reservation number if you pass and can proceed to get in line to show your passport and take picture. It didn't take us long but my son's friend took at least 45 mintues in line to get through.

We noticed people who were seated later than us got notification first to proceed so I guess it's random which batch they pick up to test first.

As I mentioned, you will also get e-mail to let you know if you pass but for us, it was faster to check on the screen. No one tells you as you are seated that how you will get notifications. People around us didn't know and later one guest had to ask and that's how we found out that we can check the screen or get e-mail.

Could we keep our luggage until receiving the testing results, THEN check them?

I don't see why not. It was our choice to check in the luggage. Many just brought the luggage with them just in case luggage was not brought in front of their room when they arrive.
