Hi - we're leaving for WDW on the 17th and have a few questions:
~ I've heard that a good time to visit Toontown characters is during the afternoon parade. Are all the characters there, including Mickey (i.e. are they magically in two places at once ;) )?
~ I remember seeing on TV that there was a special giraffe feeding station at Animal Kingdom (I think). Am I just imagining this? Sounds like something my family would love (we're the type that can't be torn away from the dolphin pool at Seaworld :D ).
~ Can you shop at the La Nouba gift store without having tickets to the show? I LOVE Cirque, but won't be able to see it, so a souvenir would be a cool compromise.

Think that's all for now - thanks a bunch!!

I can't answer your first two questions, but I can answer your third one. Yes, you can shop in the La Nouba store without going to the show. I've done it many times. It's on the ground level of the Cirque building. It's a fun shop to browse around. I'm not sure what the hours are, but I know we've stopped in during the day in the past.

Though I never looked for Mickey in Toontown during a parade, I know that the Little Mermaid show in MGM closes during the parade so that Ariel "can be in the parade", so I would think Mickey works this way too, but not sure.

I don't know of any giraffe feeding station at AK. You might be thinking of the AKL resort, which has feeding stations for the giraffes and other animals on the savannahs throughout the resort.

There might be more than one Mickey. Ariel has a recognizable face but Mickey's real face is covered so they may be able to have more than one.

When we took the Keys to the Kingdom Tour in Oct. we were told that you will never see 2 Mickey's in one park at once with the exception of Mickey in Toontown & the Mickey in the MK parade. Our guide said that chances were if you were waiting to see Mickey in Toontown you would not make it to see the parade & vice versa, therefore, this is the 1 time they will have 2 Mickey's in the park at the same time.
