Which room would you stay in? We're somewhat spoiled by the awesome TPV at the Contemporary our last 3 stays. Do any of the rooms happen to have a view of the fireworks from either HS or Epcot?

How far of a walk from Hollywood Studios/Epcot/Blizzard Beach & Typoon Lagoon?

How do you get from the resort to DTD? Any chance its walkable?

Many guests like the Boardwalk view, although it is possible to see the high fireworks from Illuminations from some Garden View rooms.
The only places walkable are the Epcot area resorts, Epcot itself and DHS. Epcot is a 10 -15 minute walk away and DHS is a 15 - 20 minute walk away.
There are no resorts within walking distance of either water park.

Thank you! Is BC/YC a closer walk to Epcot or DHS? Wondering if there's a benefit of staying at one of those resorts vs. the Boardwalk Villas.

Depending where your room is BC can be closer to Epcot than BWI, but the distance is about the same, considering you can't pick a specific room at either. Keep in mind the only exit at BWI is near the lobby area, so even if your room is on the ESPN/Epcot side of the resort, you still have to walk all the way back to the lobby to exit, then walk back past your room on The Boardwalk. There are BC exits near Epcot. YC is the farthest from both parks. BWI is the closest walk to DHS.

As stated above, you cannot walk to either water park (from any resort) or DTD.

Another thing - your title says Boardwalk Inn, then your last post says Boardwalk Villas - they are in separate buildings (connected by the lobby) - which one were you referring to? BWV will be a farther walk to Epcot than BWI. However, BWV is a closer walk to DHS than BWI (not much of a difference though).

Thank you! Only way to the water parks and DTD is by bus I assume??

Correct, water parks & DTD by bus from that resort area (or Uber or taxi if that is your preference)!

Hi there! I don't know all of the answers to your questions, but definitely can help with a couple!

We stay in the Boardwalk Villas section, so I'm unsure in regards to room location and fireworks viewing - we typically do a Standard View since we are not in our rooms all that much.

From the Boardwalk Inn, you're looking at about a 10 minute walk from your hotel room door to the International Gateway to Epcot (the "back entrance") You can also hop on a Friendship Boat right on the Boardwalk that will take you directly to the International Gateway, too! It's a nice walk past all of the action on the Boardwalk.

The walk to Hollywood Studios is a bit further, I'd say a good 15 minute walk from the Boardwalk, depending on how fast you go :) You just follow the path on the back side of the Boardwalk Inn/Villas under the road overpass and it will bring you directly to the entrance to HS. You can also hop on the Friendship Boat that will take you to Hollywood Studios, too! This boat makes a couple extra stops at the Beach & Yacht Club dock as well as the Swan and Dolphin, so it would be a little more leisurely and take a good 20 minutes.

You definitely can't walk to Disney Springs (DTD) from Boardwalk - but we hopped right on a bus from Boardwalk and it was about a 10 minute bus ride. The main bus stop right outside of the Boardwalk Lobby has the screen with bus arrival times, so you'll have a good idea when the next Disney Springs bus should be arriving.

All in all, you can walk and/or hop on the Friendship Boat to bring you to both Epcot and Hollywood Studios.

I am in LOVE with the Boardwalk and hope you have an amazing trip! We're headed there in October for the Food & Wine Festival!
