Some questions

In the Passport to Disney Wonder booklet that I recieved with my documents, it states that a carry on cannot be larger than 9"x14"x22". That doesn't sound very big; I was under the impression, somewhere in these boards that it didn't matter how big the carry on was. Is that the size of a small rolling bag?
I know we need to carry on our cameras, medications, swim suits, beer, wine, documents, etc. and I was just wondering where we are going to fit it all.

Also, it says that room service is available free of charge except for "snacks and drinks"; what does that mean?

Can my 15 year old use the exercise equipment if my husband or I accompany him? Not that we will have much time to go there, but I was just wondering. He enjoys weight lifting every other day.

We had all different size carry ons. I didn't see them checking the size of the bags like they do when you go on the plane.

Room Service, the food is free (with a tip) .

Drinks and sodas there is a charge for and they place that on your card

That is the size of a typical rolling bag you can carry on an airplane. It's bigger than it sounds! Each person can take a carry on, so you shouldn't have a problem. Try to pack them lightly though, as you may not be able to get into your cabin right away! I would pack all of the documents together, all the swim stuff together in another (no towels need), etc.

As for room service, we aren't soda drinkers, but I think that is what you have to pay extra for (& alcohol). We got milk & coffee with our food, and weren't charged extra. We did tip though.

If you look at your airline's website that is the max. size they allow for carry on's. Don't worry it will hold alot and you can have one per person plus your purse/camcorder case etc./
I think it mainly has to do with security and being able to fit easilly through the xray machine.

All food is free with room service. You will pay for soda, bottled water, specialty drinks and any alcoholic beverages. Milk, coffee and juice are free with room service.

I just wanted to clarify. We will be driving from home to port, and haven't flown in over 14 years, so I didn't realize what the limitations are.

I just thought the wording about the "snacks" not being free with room service was a little odd.

I just finished putting all medications, first aid stuff, shampoos and laundry stuff (in plastic bags) in one suitcase to be checked (not carried on). I also put baggies, over the door hangers, thermometer, nightlight, air freshener. Is that what you all do, put that stuff in one suitcase so it doesn't leak onto other stuff? I will carry on advil and Bonine.

Now I just have to pack clothes and everything else for my four children and myself (hopefully DH will take care of himself)

I guess my DS (15) will not be allowed in the gym? No one answered that question.

The spa and gym areas are reserved for guests 18 years and older.

your son will be welcome at the sports deck which has basketball etc, and he can enjoy the jogging track (deck four each lap is 1/4 mile) I would keep important medications in my carry on, things sometimes get lost, I use the hefty one zip gallon size bags and double bag anything I am leery of that might leak. This time I brought linen spray which was great each night before we retired, got it at bath and beauty works, sweet dreams spray smelled great!

One great packing trip I learned from here was to pack an outfit for each child for each day in a 2 gallon ziploc. I ironed each days outfit and packed it in a bag with socks and underwear. Each day the kids picked a bag and got dressed. No rooting around for socks and matching clothes and nothing was even the slightest bit wrinkled. The bags also fit perfectly on the shelves they provide for storage.

I think the snacks they are referring to are the snacks they sell outside one of the clubs. They have an area where you can buy pretzels, pringles, chips, etc. Also, you can purchase snacks outside of the movies. Other than these things all food on the ship is included in the price of your cruise.

I would also carry on any medication and anything else you don't want to take a chance of cruising without. It's also nice to carry swimsuits in your carryon (or wear them on). We found after we boarded and ate lunch to be the quietest time we ever found around the pool.

Thanks for the answers and suggestions. That's a good one about the baggies for outfits. I'm definitely going to do that for my DS 8 and my DD 11and maybe my DS13. I'm sure my DS 15 will want to pack for himself.

I still haven't received my documents yet!LOL

I think the TA has them, but not sure 'cause DD was with me when I was talking with her and she wouldn't leave us alone!LOL

The suitcases are out and DD has everything ready for our "April" trip!LOL
