ok thinking about booking the wyndam hotel on international drive. iv bin there before and it was excellent. last time my parents have a car but this time its just me and my boyfriend although we cnt drive! im trying to find out about a free shuttle service to all parks and possibly florida mall. i was wondering if you could help me answer some of these questions please?

Are all shuttle services free from wyndam?

How could we get to Florida Mall?

How many months do you need on your passport to enter Florida?

Do you need a visa??

im really sorry if you ahve covered these questions before in the forms, but it would be very very helpful if you could help me answer these questions!!

Cannot answer your questions about The Wyndham, it might be worth emailing them to ask direct if no-one on here has stayed there.

Passport. You need a minimum of six months usually

If you have no criminal convictions you won't need a visa usually.

You might be able to get a bus to the Florida Mall??

If so looks like you only get a free shuttle to Universal and Seaworld. I think you can get a bus to WDW via Mears?

Your best bet is to do another thread i.e Transportation to WDW via International Drive. Something like that. I think there is another company that takes you to the ticket centre. I am not sure. I do know Mears offer this service.

to get to disney, we used either the i-ride trolley or lynx 8 down to seaworld then catch the lynx 50 bus to t&tc

Florida Mall- The 37 bus runs from outside your hotel to the Florida Mall. It will say Florida Mall on it. A word of warning, it does go to the FM but via quite a few other places and therefore can take quite a while- about 40 mins from the Wyndham to the FM.

Once, when we were at the Hilton Garden Inn at SW, we were waiting for a FM bus and a taxi pulls up (as they do) to ask if we wanted a taxi. He was shocked that we didn't find his offer of a price good. When we said no, he offered to take us for (a steal at) $15!

To get to the Florida Mall I would get a taxi - much quicker and you don't have to worry about carrying your shopping bags back on the bus

From bottom end of I-Drive (Converntion Centre) the fare is around $15 each way plus tip, so from the Wyndham it should be slightly less.
The hotel should be able to call you a cab, and when you are ready to return from shopping you can either call the same cabe again (the driver usually gives you a card), or there are usually plenty of cabs waiting outside the mall entrance. Go for a Yellow Cab or Checker Cab if possible.

I think that it's a recent addition to the service.
I have just come back from Orlando and it DOES stop at DTD. See also the schedule http://www.golynx.com/schedule.cfm?route=50 and route map.

just looked at the route, it couldnt have been a recent addition, as it was the same map I checked before we went out. perhaps during peak times it stops at downtown, off peak it goes straight through to t&tc. We caught it around 6 times and not once did it stop at DTD, once it was on the highway after sea harbour drive, the next stop was t&tc.
