Some questions about Tiffins

I haven't really thought about eating at Tiffins because it's seem more high-end and that I will be uncomfortable (I'm very casual gal) but after looking at pics, I'm very tempted so I have few questions.

We are 2 adults paying cash/credit card.

1. Is there dress code? Will be be out of place if we are in T-shirt and shorts?
2. If I'm interested in Taste of Tiffins, does both of us have to order from Taste of Tiffins? For $28, it seem very reasonable. $28 is seem like normal price of other TS.
3. How is the portion size of Taste of Tiffins?
4. Can adult order from Kid's menu? Child size fish dish looks pretty good.
5. Read there's 3 rooms? Is any one of them better for "atmosphere"?
6. Would love to take some pictures of the decorations. Will it be too rude to go around to take pictures? Butterflies on the wall, totem poles looks really nice.

Thank you

1) Even of a dress code is posted you won't be out of place in theme park attire. Yes it is a signature but it is in a park so I wear what I'm wearing to AK even if it is a tank top and shirt. I've never felt under dressed.

2) Taste of Tiffins can be ordered by just 1 person. It isn't like a tradition prix fixe at non-Disney restraunts where everyone has to order. So you are good ordering it if no one else wants it.

3) The portion was perfect for lunch. I got the chicken and the tamale. Just note it only includes what is listed so for example the tamle dish normally has a piece pork tenderloin with the pork tamale and sauce. On the Taste of Tiffins it is just the pork tamale with no tinderloin. The chicken was about half of the regular plate serving. It also comes with wild rice. The two "small" plates plus rice was perfect for lunch.

4) Not sure didn't try.

5)I like the main room best.

6) It is not weird to go take photos in the other rooms just be respectful of other dinners. We were encouraged to go see the other rooms.

@wilkeliza. Thank you so much. Did you like the food? $28 seem so reasonable for signature restaurant.

It was my second time there so yes haha. I also got the chicken patte which I love. I could eat just cups of that for lunch. Everything has a nice spice mixture that brings out some great flavors. It isn't hot spice just a nice tasting blend. Also the tamales are done well which is a plus for me. I look so hard for more traditional tamales here in NYC and everyone tries to fancy them up. I like that Tiffins didn't try to make it better. It was served as you would expect which was good.

Just wanted to say you should go! I ate there two weekends ago for the first time and it was great, IMHO. So nice to have reasonably good quality (and healthy) food in a theme park. My very picky DS6 even ate all of his meal, which is no small feat. As others have mentioned, no dress code, usual theme park clothing is fine.

Not sure if it's appealing to you, but I'd suggest you take some time before or after your meal to enjoy a cocktail in Nomad's Lounge. Really nice layout. If I didn't have DS with me I would have had one (or several) drinks there.
