Some questions about the Contemporary

Hi everyone!

My sister and I will be staying at the Contemporary MK view from 6/22-6/28

What are the odds of an upgrade to Concierge? Not that I need concierge level, but just wanted to see if there was a chance.

Regarding the Contemporary computers that are in the room, will I be able to check GMail and AOL?

The odds to be upgraded aren't great. It seems the shorter the stay the more likely to be upgraded. Plus you're going at a relatively busy time of the year.

When we were at the CR in August we could check our Verizon e-mail so the I think you should be able to get to your AOL and g-mail accounts.

Enjoy your stay we'll be there in 5 months.

I agree with the previous poster on the odds of getting a free upgrade.

As for the PC, when I was there last September we were able to get on AOL and any other site we needed to check mail. Not to mention Webkinz. LOL Bring the child all the way to Disney and she wants to go on Webkinz, go figure!!

Good, I was hoping that you'd say that about the PC! It's such a hassle to bring a lap top on vacation, glad we wont have to this year!

I'll take the idea of upgrade out of my head then, I got all excited because some people where mentioning that they were given upgrades. But it's OK, we definitely have a good room anyway.

How was your over all experience with the Contemporary? It took some time to pick out a hotel for us, we changed four times before we made this reservation.

We just got an upgrade on April 27,2008-- But also the parks we're not crowded or the Resort -- So I think we just got lucky...
I might add I asked very nicely & also explained to the CM - I was perfectly happy with whatever room I got .. So I was floored when I got 12 Fl - Concierge . I posted my trip a few days ago ..I would be happy to answer any questions you might have.

If you and your sister are thinking about staying Club Level it's best to change your reservation if it's available, because you should never go thinking that you will get a free upgrade.

You will have no problems checking AOL e-mail on the in room computers and I assume it's the same with Gmail.
