Some questions about CSR...

We will be taking a trip in may, and due to budget issues, will be staying at a moderate. We are very interested in CSR...some questions...

Do rooms have high-speed internet access?
Refridgerators?
Is room service avail?
Does CSR have a beach?
Is any of CSR connected to the lobby?
Is there a beach?
Is there any sort of recreational activities on or around the lake?

I've stayed at CSR once and thoroughly enjoyed it. Definitely not an expert, though.

All moderate resorts have coffee makers, hair dryers, irons, ironing boards and refrigerators. The refrigerators are supposed to be installed in all of the rooms, but you may need to request one (no charge) to be sure you have it. It's a countertop, dorm-style refrigerator.

Hmmm... Can't remember room service. It's either very limited or pizza delivery, similar to the Value resorts.

There is a watercraft and bicycle rental pavillion.

There is a beach with a few hammocks. No swimming in the lake, though. The Dig Site is available for the young, and there is a fountain/wading pool for the little ones, in addition to the main pool and several quiet pools.

CSR does have internet connection in the rooms--I believe it is high speed.

CSR has outside corridors. The Casitas section is nearest the convention center and main building (lobby). The Cabanas section tends to be the most popular, particularly with families. Ranchos section is the farthest away from the main building and usually the quietest.

It's a very large resort with four bus stops. It does not share buses with other resorts. I found the WDW transportation (all buses) here to be superior to YC bus service.

Does CSR have a beach? yes, a beach area is located in the cabana section of the resort with white sand beaches and hammocks.
Is any of CSR connected to the lobby? casitas by a covered walkway
Is there any sort of recreational activities on or around the lake? - yes, water mice and other water craft, fishing, bicycle rentals, jogging.

What kind of room service is there? Is it just pizza? Or it is a full menu like the deluxes? We would like to order breakfest each morning.

Also I may be interested in a JR. Suite. Where are these located? Does disney discount these rooms?

I think the Jr Suites are all located in the casitas. No sure about the discount. You'll have to call for that.
