Which is better for a sit down dinner on the dining plan-Ohana Dinner or Kona Cafe?

What is the Aloha Dinner show, and does it cost two sit-down dinner points?

Thanks for replies.

The Spirit of Aloha is a dinner show and costs two dining credits per person.

Ohana is family style-ton of food. & a little more hectic. it is the one adr we normally have a wait past are adr time for. Ohana is a love or leave it place. Kona is very good. I Would check out the meus at www.allearsnet.com,

Both 'Ohana and Kona are great! If you're looking for a ton of good food in a little bit of a rushed atmoshpere, 'Ohana is your choice. Kona is a little slower-paced (even though it's in the Poly lobby), and I've never had a bad meal there. You can't go wrong with either one!

We didn't like Ohana but a lot of people here do, not that I can understand why. The service was horrible & slow. The meat was very dry and the sides were just okay. The starter salad & wings were good though, I should have had more of that and not listened to the guy bring the stuff who said not to fill up on the salad & side stuff.
Kona cafe is very good. We have gone a few times and all the entrees we've tried were very good. We like the wing app too.

Ohana dinner is a must everytime we go to WDW. We are trying other places, but wont eliminate O'hana.

'Ohana is a must-do for us each trip. The theming, food, and entertainment make it one of our favorites.

Kona Cafe is good, also. The food was great...good selection and variety. However, I hate the location and atmosphere. This might be that we were seated right on the edge and it seemed like people waiting for a table were watching us eat. :rotfl: I had a delicious steak there, though. If I had to pick between the two, I'll pick 'Ohana every time.

They are very different and we love both of them.

As others have said 'Ohana is an all you can eat family style so there is way more food. On top of that the dessert is so good I just can't stop myself from ordering extra. Some people feel rushed because they keep bringing the food to your table but just tell the server you aren't ready for something and to come back later.

Kona is a more traditional appetizer, entree, dessert meal. Quieter than 'Ohana which has entertainement but it can still be fairly noisy as you are almost sitting in the lobby of the Poly.

As for the Luau, I don't feel it is worth 2 credits, and you run the risk that it will be cancelled in inclement weather.
