Some pics from the 1st podcast cruise

I didn't want to hijack Paul's thread, so am putting some pics in a new thread. I normally take a lot of pics, but had a huge sinus headache for the first three days of the cruise that wouldn't let up until well after noon, so I missed out on a lot of stuff. I'll just have to make it up on the next one.

But I did take some pics of the cruise with fellow Podcasters/DISers & wanted to share. Please let me know if you'd like me to delete any.

The first Podcast meet

Playing pictionary with some guests. Turns out one of them is a DISer (I think tig82174), but wasn't on the Podcast cruise.

Here Gibson (froggy5657) and Dagny play Mickey Mania. They would have won except for one of the opposing teams who went into great detail, and got points for it. I believe their team was the Red Minnies, and Gibson made Dagny wear the ears

Last night at Wavebands.

Every night had a little entertainment before the CMs mixed with us for another night of fun.

Here's Christina. We had a blast with her on the cruise

And they convinced ChrisC to go backstage & come out as Mick Jagger. It was a hoot!!

We had a great time with all of the entertainers throughout the cruise. We had to take a pic with them. The names I remember - Tissa in the red on the left, Lisa with the pink hair, Christina with the punked out blonde wig, and Melanie in the cheerleader outfit.

Somewhere during the evening, I filled up my photocard & lost my camera case with my extra card & battery, so I was unable to take pics of Thommy dancing Thriller (bummed). So this is the end of my cruise photos.

Someone else took this photo. We closed Wavebands each night, and were told to just shut the doors on our way out. This is the last time we shut the doors.

I had never been on Expedition Everest, so Dagny & I started our day at the AK -- had a great visit there.

I took a ton of animal pics & will skip over most of them. But loved seeing the ones on the safari & on the Pangani trail. Last time I was at AK was in '99.

Mike is an unsuspecting potential victim to the guy approaching, who almost pants him. With all the shutterbugs on this outing THAT would have been quite a pic.

Instead, we put the guy & his wife to work.

Todd came well prepared "just in case" he overindulged -- he had instructions where to return him.

Hmmmm ... just about every pic I see of Tracy she's got her hands full. I loved the grey goose slushie here. Thank you to whoever recommended it!

With over 200 minutes left on her cell phone, Yvette got down to business

Bad picture of Jose Feliciano performing. (Later we went to Jelly Rolls to see the dueling pianos, and he also showed up later. It was neat to see him in there)

We noticed that security was following us and keeping an eye on us. We told her that we were really a nice bunch, and she replied that it wasn't the group that had her concerned, but the guy who had the long tripod thing and using it to look up women's skirts. This is really blurry because I was hiding my camera when I took the pic.

Jason (Aaronmckie) and Shanan (A.Mickey) - great pic! So you can see, we started when the sun was high, and now it's dark.

What a great way to end the cruise, travelling the world with fellow Podcasters, many who became friends during this cruise.

Gibson is right. Elton John and Tim Rice did the Pop songs and not the score.

Gibson is right. Elton John and Tim Rice did the Pop songs and not the score.

But, Hans Zimmer, does not always write his own stuff. His name is often fronted for a group of composers that works with and for him.

Case in Point is Pirates.

I'm curious to hear what your husband thought about all of us after the cruise. He was the first person we met on the shuttle from the Budget terminal to the ship, and told us not to ask him any questions since he didn't know anything other than he was told to wear the GKTW t-shirt.
