I always enjoy looking at photos of members' cruise experiences when they are posted from time to time, so in case anyone's interested, here's some from the 5/8 Wonder:

Wonder cruise

They're not coming thru for me. It says "error has occurred". But thanks!

Awesome! Your daughter is adorable. I just got off the Wonder, so I was reliving our trip for a second. Wasn't Castaway Cay gorgeous??

Jillpie: I'm one of those who really didn't expect too much from Castaway Cay -- you've seen one Caribbean island paradise, you've seen 'em all, right? Wrong! As many others have suggested, I'd be happy if the ship sailed right out to CC and stayed docked there until it was time to sail back to the port.

Of course, it didn't hurt that it was clear, sunny and about 82 degrees that day. ;) Picture postcard weather, for sure.

Thanks for posting your pictures. I enjoyed them. Your daughter is a cutie.

Great pictures - thanks for sharing! I'm looking forward to our first trip on the Wonder in a few weeks. :cool1:

Great pictures! What was the ocassion for the outfits Mickey & Minnie were wearing, those are not the norm.

Looks like I enjoyed my vacation...I mean your vacation. Thanks for sharing your photos; they were great! CC is beautiful, I hope this year's round of hurricanes won't hurt CC this time around.

Those were taken after the childrens' "graduation at sea" ceremony. Mickey and Minnie preside over the turning of the tassles in the Walt Disney Theatre, and afterward they are available for photos in the atrium on Deck 4.

I loved looking at your photos. :flower:
I have a question...I noticed a dragon float on CC. Did you bring that along, or did they have them at CC? I was just wondering how you filled it with air.

Aisling (I love that name, by the way): I wish I could tell you, but I don't know who's float that was or where it came from. We didn't rent anything on CC, because I had brought my own mask/snorkel, and I didn't need fins. I know they rent big inflated doughnuts and floating mats to lounge in/on, but I don't know if that dragon was rented/sold on CC.

thanks for the great photos!!

was the water warm at CC, we leave in 2 weeks!! :cool1:

I grew up swimming in the gulf waters in SW Florida, so I'm a bit of a pansy when it comes to cold water. That being said, when I jumped in at CC last week (trying to wade in is too excruciating), I soon acclimated. I sat in a half-submerged chair most of the day and enjoyed the water on my legs and feet, and snorkeled for over an hour without feeling cold. As for my DD5, I think she's part eskimo or something. She loves playing in water at any temperature. I could probably throw her into a vat of ice-cream and she woudn't shiver as long as she was permitted to eat it.

Hiyas! This is LoriJ's DH with a question if I may? I noticed one of your piccies was in pirate costume. Was your cruise on the Wonder the 3 day? I'm hoping so, as I've heard that the pirate evening is NOT on the 3 day cruise, just the 4 and 7 day. If so, I've got a pirate costume that will taking up space and not used on our cruise in June. :sad2:

Thanks!

Thanks for sharing your pictures! Your daughter looked like she was really enjoying herself. It is sixteen days and a wake-up until we leave for our June 5th cruise on the Wonder--our first cruise ever!

Great Photos! I was on the same cruise as you. I haven't gotten back our pictures yet. Just look at the video and we miss everything. The Food, Weather--just awesome. Did you go to the 8:30 Comedian show on Monday? The boy named Brandon that got picked for the magic part was my son. It was awesome seeing it again on video. Everyone kept coming up to him during the ship remembering him. It made his day!
