never seen such lovely pics ive also pinched a couple for my desktop and put the one of the castle on my phone hope thats ok

Wow fab photos - I really love the castle one with the icy trees in front! Can I ask what camera you use? Did you use a tripod for you night ones?

No problem - I take it as a compliment!

Yes of course - though I had to go and get it to find out as I couldn't remember what it's called!

It's a Panasonic FZ18 - I bought it with the intention of learning how to use the AP/SP modes but I didn't pick it up very quickly so got bored with that. It now spends its days on Intelligent Auto (as it seems to be more intelligent than me anyway!) though I did switch to night mode (illuminations and portrait) a few times.

No tripod - just me and the camera!

Thanks for that. I see re the camera - I would have bet money on you using a DSLR with those photos but I see not. Very good camera considering it is an automatic! Your night shots are so clear!

Thanks for sharing them - they are a joy - while the photos are great, you clearly have an eye for photography too
