My dad had someone hit his car the other day, they then jumped a red light and drove off. It has smashed the headlight, & damaged the bumper, wing and other damage under the bonnet:headache: He only managed to get part of the number plate, someone stopped & said he witnessed it happening but didn't get the number plate either.

Fortunately it happened near the Canary Wharf & Limehouse Link tunnel where there are cameras. They can't divulge info to my dad but if the insurance company request through the police they will release the info. Whilst the security camera bloke could say if he could pick up number plates due to data protection, he did state they are good cameras, so hopefully this person can be caught.

I can't believe some people.

Hope they catch them.

I'll bet their not insured or have lost their license. Makes you so mad

It makes you so mad when this happens and i know how you father is feeling because it was about 4-5 weeks ago that someone damaged my car in Asda's car park .
When people drive off like that it makes you wonder did they have insurance and are they allowed to be driving :confused3
Today you just don't no.
I hope there is a happy ending to this for you dad and will send some pixie dust for him pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust:

That's terrible, I hope the cameras get his number plate and they get him!!!!
