Some people are SO nice!

I work front desk at a hotel, and earlier a group of women came through all carrying drinks and food from Wendys. I was joking around with them, and asked if they brought me a Frosty.

Well, they just came back again, and this time, they DID! How sweet is that to buy food for a total stranger? People who randomly do something nice like this make such an impression on me after dealing with so many jerks!

Now if you'll excuse me, I have a free Frosty to eat!

Oh wow! How nice of them! I agree, there are some wonderful people in this world. It kind of helps balance out all the rotten-ness we hear and see. Those kinds of people are real gems.

It's amazing how someone spending 99 cents on me can totally make my day! Ever since I started working front desk, I've been wanting to make up a gift basket of candy or something for the front desk people at WDW!

Awww that was sweet.

Long ago, DS had to walk to school, right here in town, 1 street up from our house. No Buses for the school so ALL the children walked to and from school every day. Cut down on Snow days too.

Pouring Rain, Sleet, Snow, 90 degrees in June, whatever the weather was the Crossing Guard was ALWAYS there to meet the children and help them accross the street.

Ok so, school was on, snow coming down, me driving my son to school. There is the Crossing Guard. Me drinking my coffee as I'm dropping off my son. I get home, get a Disney Travel Mug, fill with Hot Coffee, grabs a small container of milk and some sugar and sweet n low, and Back Out in the snow to the Crossing Guard and hands her the Coffee and supplies. The LOOK on her face was Priceless. She thanked me for 5 minutes.

Amazing, that a cup of Coffee would brighten two people's day so much

When I was in the hospital for the birth of DS we brought in a huge basket of candy for the nurses. We left it on the side table in the room with a note to let them know it was for them. The night nurses loved it, the day nurses didn't eat as much but it was appreciated!! We refilled it before we left and took it to the nurses station.
