Some one stole my Mickey Sorcerer antenna

I don't think my budget can handle a snowglobe, or I"d be glad to help you out, too. Our store was having a huge sale, and DH would probably die if he knew how much I actually spent getting such "good deals". :teeth:

I was kidding about the snowglobe...I just got the 75 years with Mickeysnowglobe..a few weeks ago...awesome sale...98 dollar snowglobe for 40 dollars...::yes:: ::yes::

There was another thread on this topic too somewhere....

However, I super glued my MM on and after awhile(I think it was over a year, maybe even 2 yrs!) it loosened up and came off, either a tree or the wind.... but it was found on the ground, and I decided not to try and top it off... Several posters mentioned about hanging them off their rear view mirrors... some hot glued a wire/fishing line on top, some used some kinda tiny screws to balance in both ears... then looping the thread thru...

I just bought a red white blue one, but I'm not sure what to do with it!!! (or which car - - maybe I should run back to the DS!!) and my store didnt have that wizard MM, so cant wait to get one at WDW!!!!

Oh, Mickey88, I know that you were kidding. That's a great find with the snowglobe. ::yes::

I was going to pass on it anyway, for lack of room for it..already had 7 globes, but the price was too good, and since it's the 75th with Mickey it's kind of a double collectable

When I bought an attenna ball, they suggested the super glue also. I guess you just have to keep checking if it gets lose, and super glue it back on. Why do people steal

if you super glue it what happens if it fades or someone brake smickey's ears off..how do you get it off the antenna then..??

nope I'm anti glue..I like my antenna..

plus I keep a red white and blue topper on my car, except for car shows I switch to a glitter topper...glue would be a problem

What a very thoughful person you are! That is so nice! Hugs to you!!!!<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/11/11_2_104.gif' border=0></a>

I know its crap when they steal it off. My mom has the little wal-mart smily face :) (she really likes the smily face) and she is now on her 3rd one this year as the other 2 have been stolen. If this one goes, that is it, she says no more smilys on the van.

Wife has never had a topper lost or stolen, could be because we really have a bottomer.

I poke a hole all the way through and push him down to the bottom. This way he does not whip back and forth when she is going 75MPH on the interstate and there is no chance of him ever coming off.

I don't know about Mickey88 but I have too many antenna toppers that I switch to think about gluing them. I have them for every holiday and season change. He gets changed weekly! LOL! I've only had one Mickey head stolen. It was a really cute pumpkin head and was taken while my van was at the Hard Rock hotel in Universal. I should have known better then to take Mickey there!

That is SOOO frustrating, I had someone steal my princess antenna topper that my parents brought me back from their trip last year. I was so upset when I realized it was gone.

will these antenna toppers fit Honda S2000 or Audi TT antennas? They are a tad fatter than regular antennas

For a picture of the said antennas above, click here.

TIA

I super glue all my toppers on, i have them for just about every month. When it's time to change, just twist a little and pull, comes right off. I've only had one stolen and it was kids on their way to school, that's when i started super gluing. If you have full coverage on your comp coverage under your insurance, you won't have to pay any deductible to get it replaced, just in case. I have the Uncle Sam Mickey on there now, don't see too many of those!

My heartfelt condolences....I lost my Lilo and Stich Purple Hawaiian Mickey head that I got in Hawaii of all places and it was stolen at WDW!!!!!!!

so I can sympathize!

if you can get it off by twisting and pulling..how does that stop it from being stolen...

also if you try to collect on your comprehensive insurance, they might be nice once or twice, but they could refuse to pay since it's an aftermarket add on to the car....unless you pay extra for coverage on it..

I will not be going for.....gasp....three months! I wish I could get a hold of geffric . I could call, but I don't remember where they are staying.

I would attach with glue, but I have a Grinch for Christmas and a Ghost for Halloween. :(

They aren't terribly easy to get off either, it takes a bit of effort.

So sad!!!!

NEVER FEAR...I have Geffric's cell phone number! I didn't read the whole thread, so you may have resolved this problem...but I'm going to call now....it's 9:30PM there and I don't want to wait any longer.....will report back soon!

Most people aren't going to take the time to twist the topper around and around until it comes off, they try to pull straight up to get it off and it doesn't budge. with glue, it's enough of a resistance to discourage someone from standing there; there are too many other ones they can get to that just come right off, especially in malls. As for the insurance, you are not insuring the TOPPERS, what you are insuring is your antenna, a part of your car when you bought it. If you are paying your premium, they cannot deny you coverage; although if you are turning in continued claims on a damaged antenna, they will more than likely make you raise your deductible.
