Some odds & ends pics....2 for Tulirose!

We went on the 2003 Secret Garden Tour yesterday. Unfortunately, I was doing something very wrong (with my settings...whatever) camera wise, and only ended up with 3 or 4 pics out of 57!!! Oh well.....

It was a gorgeous sunny day, and we saw some wonderful gardens. Pictures or not, it was a very enjoyable way to spend the afternoon.

This pic isn't from the tour, just a pot of begonias on my deck that caught my eye.

I couldn't help but think of Tulirose as I snapped these pics of her ....most favourite flower.

Beautiful pics! I love that sanctuary picture! What a beautiful retreat spot. I wish I had a shade garden area. Alas... I must contend with FULL, BRIGHT and VERY HOT sun!

Oh Beautiful! Beautiful! Especially the ones of the Peonies. Thank you for thinking of me! How did you ever know that they were my most favorite flower???

Visiting gardens like this and also visiting estates, don't it just make you feel rich? And I find it very relaxing too! Glad you enjoyed your sunny day.

Beautiful Kim. It's nice to see flowers that are in bloom.

All my blooms have been washed away with all the rain we've been having. On a nice day (haven't been too many) I spend it cutting of the blooms. Everything is a moldy mess.

Mamu, last year it was a late frost, and didn't you have to replant your corn (or was that the year before?), and now, too much rain. Hopefully there's still time for some of your plants to recover.
