Sorry folks. I'm clueless & had never planned to fly until we saw the 45.00 each way fare from BWI to MCO. That was cheaper than gas for us.

So, is the stroller considered a carry-on. Ours is a light-weight stroller, but it is not am umbrella, is that OK?

Do you know how many seats there usually are in a row on Southwest?

Are carry-ons weighed?

I'll come up with plenty of more questions later. Those are the only ones stressing me out at the moment. :)

Edited to correct many, many typos!!

This will probably be tagged at the gate and put in the cargo hold of the plane. You would pick it up on the MCO end.

Two rows of 3 seats.

Are carry-ons weighed?

No, they just need to fit the size requirements. Be careful, a really heavy carry-on is hard to get in the overhead. compartments.

Ted Thank you so much! Especially about the seats! We have 3 kids & were so worried that one child would have to sit alone. You all have been so great. :)

Guess what Magical Mom -

If you have a kid in a stoller, you will get to board before group A. Before they board Group A they board all handicapped people and anyone with children under 5 or 6. You will be in the front of the plane. Sweet!

Not only that, you got freakin' great rates. I got that last year out of BWI, but since I already had cheap flights out of Philly for this August, I wasn't stalking SWA this year like I did last year.

I live in DE and I am much closer to PHL, but I love BWI. It takes a a while longer to get there. If you go down 301, instead of 95, it is longer, but it is a much nicer ride. The long term parking is very reasonable and the shuttles pick you up promptly. Getting through security is usually very quick.

If you have an early morning flight, definately do one of the park-n-fly deals. For the price of a room you leave you car at the hotel and they take you to the airport. I think I did the Ramada (cheapest), but it worked out great.

You will be so glad you flew and in 2 hours you will be in MCO. Your kids will love it!

Hi MEK! We're in Dover. Philly is probably closer for us too, but I couldn't pass up the rate. My MIL is staying the night Sunday night & driving us to BWI. My youngest child just turned 4 yo. That will be great if we can board first!

I just love it when I meet someone else from Delaware! Glad to know our little state has so many Disney Lovers. :)

One last question (I think). Should I put an ME tag on the stroller?

Where is BWI?

No do not put a ME tag on your stroller. Otherwise you won't see it until you get to your resort.

Have the gate agent at the airport give you a tag for the stroller. Then you can use it down to the door of the plane. Then will take it, when you get to Orlando it will be waiting outside the plane on the jetway.
