Some more advice please?

Hi everyone.......

We're booking flights tonight when we get home from work 14th of August 2004 and can't wait... we haven't told our Son yet, he's in for a BIG surprise....

Has anyone dealt with http://www.statesidetravel.com/ for Villas? I've made enquires and they seem quite good and the properties we are interested in seem to be in a nice area (Glenbrook Resort), has anyone stayed here?

We sure did! booked via virginholidays.com, two weeks starting on the 14th of August 2004, I'm sure the time will soon go in , booked the car via Virgin as well....

I had a recommendation of "Orange Tree" and waiting for more information.... There's so many Villas/companies to choose from? never mind I'll have something booked within the next two days... We're calling our Son shortly whose on his annual Month holiday in Scotland with family.... he doesn't know yet, can't wait to tell him

Great news, The Murrays.

How old is your son?? We didn't tell our DD one year until about one month to go. We'd decided we weren't going to tell her until we were well on the way to Gatwick, but then I realised how she'd miss out on all the planning (she likes to help ), so we packed a little bag full of "clues" and she had to guess where we were going. Got it on the 5th attempt, but it was well worth it - her little face was a picture

Liam is 11 at the moment and will be 12 when we fly off to Florida, we were tempted to wait for a couple of weeks when he flies back down from Scotland with his auntie & uncle, but I couldn't wait that long I only wish I could see his face, he had to guess, we did mention to him when we came back from France this year that we may go to Cyprus! but we knew deep down he wanted to go to Florida..... he sounded so surprised when I told him and very excited!

We're holding back on arranging Park Tickets/excursions until Liam's home, like you say it gets the little ones involved in the planning.... Just got to pick a Villa now, so may to choose from and so many different areas! I've been recommended "Orange Tree" which is next door to Glenbrook, have you ever been there/know anyone who has?

William - how exciting for Liam He's the same age as Katie, our DD - she started visiting Florida when she was 6 and hasn't looked back. It's about the only time she doesn't have a problem not having a brother/sister to share it with because she's so busy and accompanies her mum on the rides

Can't help with any info on villas, we tend to stay in hotels as there's only three of us, but I'm sure someone out there will be familiar with that area.

Liam is looking forward to it and can't wait to get home from his holiday to start planning Heather and I are both looking forward to it and I'm starting to see double now with the amount of villas I've looked through but I don't mind..........

Hi

Orange Tree villas is off the I27 to the left of Disney if you were looking at a map.

The Villas are built by Greater homes. Here is a link to their website. It shows the plans of the villas and the location. there is even a photo showing disney in the distance. The villas are still being built on the site. Click on the Orange tree site. In a Brits guide Simon V recommends the builders!!

If I was toying with the idea of buying a villa and I thought the Gulf Breeze looked fantastic.
