omg I cant beleive we leave next Tue, im more excited than the kids.
anyways my questions are these

how does the speed pass thing work? not sure on official name, but the thing that lets you not have to wait in line.

we got regular PH passes , are there any other perks included with those, or is that just with the packages?

I bought I small cooler, I mean small I think it would hold a few cans of soda, maybe 2 sandwhiches. dh says he heard people say food isnt allowed, but if I throw the baby's bottles on top will they let us bring it in then?

Fast pass - certain rides will have a fast pass machine located in front. You put your park hopper ticket in and a slip of paper with a time frame will come out. Do not forget to grab your Disney ticket back. The slip of paper will have a time frame on it with an hour window. Anytime within that hour you can come back to that ride and get in the fast pass line. You can only hold one fast pass at a time and cannot get another for a different ride until you have used the one you have or you have passed the time on the bottom of your fastpass.

No benefits come with a park hopper

I have put a few drinks in my bag and nothing was ever said about them. Now I can't comment on a small coller or food because I have never done that.

The food questions gets "debated" here at times. Apparently the "official" Disney word is that they do not allow food in..... but unofficially they do it all the time! I have read MANY, MANY posts here about people who bring in coolers, both large and small, that contain lunch, baby food, drinks, etc with no problem. If you are concerned about lugging it around, rent a locker. I have brought in small amounts of food before, mostly for DS who has food allergies. Mostly sandwiches, juice boxes, and granola bars. I have never had any problems.

Regarding the FastPasses.... hockeymom was mostly correct, but you can hold more than one FP at a time... it has to do with timing. It has been explained here in the past better than I can explain it, so do a search. I believe they also explain it over at www.allearsnet.com you can do a search there for it.

Your only "perk" with Park Hopper tickets is the ability to actually park hop!
