We are looking to take a party of 7 from Beach Club to IOA, main objective to hit WW of Harry Potter. :confused3

1. Must we pre-book a mini van cab, or can we just ask for one at our hotel a day or so prior?
2. How much does it cost to get into IOA these days? Are we wise to book a 2park pass? Everyone is 9+ and likes thrill rides.
3. Will we easily be able to get a mini van cab back to our hotel, or are these hard to come by?

I realize there is a sticky thing, and an entire thread dedicated to this, but I got tired of reading through all this stuff after about 6 pages and just really want the answers so my planning can move forward! :thumbsup2

If you are interested in Harry Potter , there are 2 sections.ONE in EACH universal park. You will need a park to park ticket.Hogsmeade is at IOA and Diagon Alley is at the Studios. The Hogwarts express runs between them.It won't be cheap.A one day park to park ticket is $136 for an adult and $130 a child. One day tickets are rarely discounted

Holy Cow! I'm so glad I asked!! I wasn't expecting that! LOL!! Thanks for the info.

Anyone know about the transportation part of it?

Thanks!

I would say that you are better booking transport, even if you just call Mears the day before. You might get a cab on the morning, but if you need a car to seat 7, better to pre-book.

We used to use the shared shuttle vans and the service from Mears was great, I guess for a party of seven you will get a van to yourself. We always had to pre-book the collection from our Disney resort but for the return Mears just grouped us when we got to the bus departure point.
